TOO SMALL FOR AN AVERAGE 4 YEAR OLD, December 6, 2007 This is 16" diameter which is quite small. My daughter is not yet 40" and she is WAY too big for this. She tried to hop on it but it is so small she fell. Watermelons are bigger than this. If I didn't buy it so long ago, I would have returned it. I think it would work for 2-3 year old.
