Good piece for the price, March 25, 2009 I didn't have any problems whatsoever with this cabinet. It ably serves my needs. I have two shelf units from the line, a double and a triple, and found them easy to assemble and perfectly functional. For the price, you can't beat them. I had no issues with the color of the veneer. It's reddish. Is it an exact match to a true cherry wood stain? Probably not. But then, if you're really in the market for high quality hardwood furniture ... you probably shouldn't be shopping in the veneer-covered particle board section of the store. For the price this is a perfectly functional and satisfactory unit. If you're looking for a stunning piece of hand-crafted furniture, though, you're not going to find it at this price point. It works great and is pretty enough for me!
