Maxcold it isn't, August 15, 2009 I purchased a Igloo Maxcold 36 for its size and its capacity to hold ice for several days. I went camping in the high Sierras(August 2009). The average daytime temperature was 76-78. The ice lasted an average of 3/4 of a day. I had to replace the ice every morning. It doesn't live up to its advertisements. I also had a Coleman Extreme and 7 days later I dumped the original frozen ice on my lawn. I contacted Igloo,"We always value any type of feedback our consumers have regarding our products and services." Big help and no refund; don't waste your money on Igloo!
