 Does what its suppose to., October 19, 2008
I have 2 dogs, one which is a shepherd/collie mix, and it sheds constantly. I needed something easy and light to use daily to pick up the dog hair from the hardwood floors, and it works perfectly. I still have to use the big vacuum for the better suction on the carpeting, but for a quick clean up, it does what I need it to.

I bought this vacuum after having a terrible, cheap dirt devil that would blow all the animal fur away from the vacuum. This did not do that, and is good for picking up animal fur but is heavy and loud. It is so loud in fact that I have to put it on the carpet setting even on hard wood. I also blew a belt after less than a month, which is ridiculous. Also, you have to be careful with the attachment hose because if it's not tightly in place, it will come out and the vacuum will not work. I've bought a stick vacuum on the side, because handling this thing all the time is too much. Plus, the pet fur velvet thing on the front seems unnecessary, it picks up the same amount of fur, whether you use it or not. There's got to be something better out there.

 Spend a little more and get something else!, September 13, 2008
This is by far the worst, and most frustrating, vacuum that I've ever used. The air release vent in the front of the vacuum and blows everything you want to suck up, out of the way and usually into the air. I have to vacuum my floors with the hose, which is time consuming and ridiculous. Plus, in order to even use the hose, you have to unhook a part from the machine and plug it into the hose. It's time consuming and annoying. The vacuum itself is like pushing a bulldozer when I'm vacuuming carpet. Please don't buy this machine. I was broke, and needed a vacuum quick... I should've known, you get what you pay for.
