Does the job and then some., December 22, 2008 This is the first cooler I have had that I only needed to fill with ice once on a trip. Here is how the trip went:
Day one- fill with ice ($6)
Day two- check ice, close lid.
Day three- check ice, drain a little water out with drain plug (what cooler are those 1star guys reviewing?).
Day four- check ice, breaking up large chunks into smaller chunks.
Day five- empty ice & water out of cooler because camping trip is over.
Day six- laugh at friends who spent $20 in ice for the trip and complained all day about it.
Bottom line? I saw my inlaws refill their cooler 5-6 times one weekend and decided this would be a nice X-Mas gift for them.
