great closet system, July 5, 2006 This closet system is a great buy! It goes together easily with simple instructions that use specific directions and diagrams. I'm a 50 year old woman and had no problem putting the pieces together at a leisurely pace while watching TV. It was actually fun! The system went together beautifully in my closet and I couldn't be more pleased!
Heads up:
1) Make sure you plan your closet carefully first. If you go to the Closit website, it has a planning section that allows you to print and cut out mini pieces to paste on graph paper to help you with your design... very cool. Also, take the measurements of the height of your closet, too. You might not be able to build as high as you thought.
2) Start with the simplest piece first. The shelf and shoe pieces are basically the same. Start there and then move on to the drawer pieces.
3) The boxes can be heavy, especially the tall or wide units. You may not need help putting the pieces together, but you do need a strong back to pick up the boxes.
4) Have fun! If you take the time to plan your closet well, you'll love it!
