Five starsGreat seat for up to 40 pounds., April 28, 2008
I have the Roundabout and the Britax Marathon for my child. It is great for use right from birth through @3-4years old for an average size child. It is almost the same as the Marthon except for the size. The Marathon is a bit bigger so it will last until your child reaches 65 pounds, that is 25 pounds more than the Roundabout! The price isn't really much of a difference when you're spending this much already. If you shop around you can actually find the Marathon for the same price or sometimes even less if you look on some of the auction sites(yes they are still new seats from most of the auctions). Although I love this seat I don't think we are going to be able to use it much longer.

Four starsNice seat, April 28, 2008
This seat is really easy to use and well built. To those of you who want to use the car seat for a longer time, don't purchase this one! It only goes up to 40 pounds which is comparable to the Britax Roundabout but you can get the Roundabout for about 75.00 less. The only difference is the way you adjust the straps and this one has a bit more pading which can actually be a bit more bulky on the top. If you want to use the seat up to 65 pounds I would recommend the Britax Marathon which you can easily find for this price or less. The Marathon is a bigger seat and goes from 5 pounds all the way to 65 pounds using the 5pt harness, which is the safest system to use. If you have your heart set on the way this harness adjusts on this seat(you don't have to retread it when you change height level)I would suggest that you spend a little bit more and get the Britax Boulevard which adjusts the same way but does go to 65 pounds. If you shop around you can usually find it for less than this one! It is definately worth the little extra money to get a seat that is suited for 25 lbs more than this one.

Five starsGreat for forward facing., March 23, 2007
Seat works great for forward facing, must move the crotch strap to furthest setting to avoid "the thigh pinch". If you need to use it for rear facing, take off the base and use a rolled towel/blanket to "prop" it in the recline position so head doesn't flop. FYI, if your heart is set on a Britax but your purse(or husband, haha) doesn't agree, Britax has made a less expesive seat under the Fisher Price logo. Half the cost same benefits/frame as Britax seat! Check it out-Fisher Price Safe Voyage, take a close look and you can tell its the same base/frame. Some sites will advertise its made by Britax but I noticed many don't state it clearly. They probably would rather you pay the big bucks for the Britax lable. To bad I didn't find this out until I spent 249.00 on the Marathon! All things considered though the 3 in 1 seat will last you for a long time too! Remember be sure to save your receipt and the original box for whichever seat you decide on for at least 30 days. Almost all major stores have a 30-90 day return policy if the seat doesn't work out for you, as long as you have everything that was included originally!

Four starsMommy of 3, March 23, 2007
I purchased this seat @7 months ago. The straps are a real pain to adjust. Plenty of cusion, but hard to take apart to clean. It is a sturdy seat and baby looks comfy in it. I am also concerned with the height of it, looks as if baby will out grow it quickly. I have bought a few different seats for different cars and found that the Eddie Bauer/Cosco 3 in 1 (goes from newborn to 80lbs) is pretty good, if it doesn't fit in your car(its bulky) you can remove the bottom part/base, this also helps when it is the rear facing position. Most people don't realize that. Also like Britax Marathon, but its a little more expensive. BUT GREAT NEWS TO ALL WHO WOULD LIKE A BRITAX BUT DON'T WANT TO SPEND THE $, FISHER PRICE CAME OUT WITH SEAT THAT IS MADE BY BRITAX!! IT IS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THE BRITAX DECATHLON. HALF THE MONEY TOO! [...] CHECK IT OUT FISHER PRICE SAFE VOYAGE CAR SEAT MADE BY BRITAX, PRETTY COOL! HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE!
