Women's Xhilaration: Saniya Pointed Toe Flats - Grey
 |
|
Comfy and Versatile!, October 12, 2009 These are actually more of a warm charcoal gray. They look more of a metallic pewter in the picture, but are not shiny at all. Very comfy (as all of the Saniya shoes are), no rubbing. The Saniyas vary a bit in the consistency on sizing- I have various colors in both 8 and 8-1/2. They don't really "stretch out" since they're not real leather. If you're not sure, I'd say go a 1/2 size up- I usually use heel grips to size them down as needed. Also, the gray has a touch of brown in it, so it complements brown tones as well as others- very versatile. Love them!

Midnight Granite Poly Cutting Board (9-1/2x15")

Gentle on your knives!, September 7, 2009 I have this board in two sizes, and don't understand the previous reviewers being upset with this board showing cut marks! Um, isn't that the point of a cutting board? To provide a surface under the food you're cutting that will give way to your knife and prevent it from dulling? That's the reason you shouldn't actually cut on glass cutting boards or other hard surfaces because it can dull your knives quickly. I this this product is great, but I guess if you're concerned with a poly board showing cut marks, don't get the black, get a lighter color where the marks won't show up as easily.

Mossimo Supply Co. Navy Winni RT Wedge - 8.0

An oddly fitted shoe..., June 3, 2009 I ordered these online and was so excited to have a "comfortable" pair of patent navy shoes for work. Yes, these are a very dark navy, but definitely navy, not black. They fit true to size, but my issue is the the front was down really far, so there's a good amount of toe-cleavage, and it's very round and flat. My toes didn't fit in it very well, and my toenails kept rubbing the inside so they were quite uncomfortable. I guess if you have flat toes, this is the perfect shoe for you.

Merona® Cable V-Neck Sweater - Cream

Cute, but material is thin and coarse., June 3, 2009 I tried a bunch of these on in the store with high hopes. While they are definitely cute, the material is much thinner and not as soft as the previous V-neck elbow-sleeve Merona sweaters Target had for winter. Not too bad, but if you have sensitive skin, they might bother you. Also, plan to wear a cami underneath the lighter colors because while the edging on the neck, sleeves and waist is opaque, the body of the sweater is rather see-through. This also means that the color will change. I loved the bright minty green color, but with my skin color showing underneath, it was more like a puce color. Ick.

Adorable!, October 27, 2008 SO cute, and much more flattering than what the picture shows (eek). They do have this sweater in other colors (striped & solid). I have this in this grey/cream stripe and the dark green/heather cream stripe. Since it is juniors' sizing, I recommend going a size up if you're used to missy sizes. I'm a size 0-2 and XS-S in the Merona line, so I got the M in this and it was perfect. I'm a bit short-waisted, and this sweater is longer and form-fitting, so I didn't want the lovely pant-clasp bulge in the front to show (you know what I mean). Also, it does have a very low neck, so I recommend a cami or tank underneath.

Pretty cute but see-through., September 6, 2008 I haven't gotten this yet, but I've tried this on at the store. It's definitely a cute top, I really like the Rogan collection. But this is a very sheer material, so if you don't want everyone seeing your bellybutton...you'll want a cami under this. :) Hey, it's worth the awesome clearance price, that's for sure!!

Perfect for casual summer days., September 6, 2008 I grabbed the XS online, but tried it at the store first. This fits true to size- I'm usually a S-M in the junior's clothing, and an XS-S in the misses assortment, and XS-S works well for me in the One Star collection. I grabbed an XS in this because I wanted a closer fit at the waist/hips. The arm holes are cut small enough that you don't have to worry about your bra peeking through. Perfect! Goes with anything, great for a casual summer day. But, put a blazer over it and the grommet detailing gives a little edge to your look.

The fit is a bit weird..., September 6, 2008 I have these shoes in the patent red and the brown floral pattern in a size 8, and both of those fit great- but needed a couple of days of breaking in before they were comfy. I just bought these online since they went on clearance, size 8, and they are too small. ??? Tried breaking them in and nothing got better, so not sure if it's an anomaly or what, but just fyi- you might want to go a 1/2 size up on these.

Much better than last year's version!, September 6, 2008 I already had this in the white and grabbed the black once it went on clearance. Great fit- I usually wear a 7 1/2 to an 8, and went for an 8. Very comfortable, didn't even need to break them in. Target had a similar assortment of Merona wedges last year, and I have the black in those as well. The material was much stiffer and after a year, they still hurt my feet after a while. These are much, MUCH better- thank you, Target!

So practical yet so chic., September 6, 2008 I love that the sleeves are actually long enough! That's my biggest problem with jackets. I usually wear a 0-4 in Target clothes, and an XS-S in their coats. I grabbed a S and it's perfect. The shoulders are roomy enough, too- you can actually move around when you put this on. The only thing is that the belt sits a little high (a bit above my true waist, and I'm short-waisted), but I'm willing to overlook that with how adorable this magenta coat is. And it irons really well with a med-cool iron temperature! Love it!
