Excellent first toy for a young baby!, September 10, 2009 I had preemie twins and this is the first toy that they actually noticed and smiled at. By 3 months they would lay under it and smile and bat at the star and ball. They just LOVE this toy! I also have one of those play mats with toys that dangle down, but they don't really care for it. This one has flasing lights and very pleasant classical music to peak their interest.
In the pictures they don't show it, but for a young baby laying under it, you can put the catepillar at a 45 degree angle so it's actually facing the baby. This way he can see the lights and bright colors instead of just laying directly under the dangling toys. This is definitely a must!

Much better than Lanisoh!, July 26, 2009 I was on my second tube of Lanisoh when I ran out and had to use the free sample of Medela Tender Care Lanolin that came with my pump. WOW. I couldn't believe how much nicer this stuff was than the Lanisoh! It glides on smoothly with no need to warm it up on your fingers first. I have to apply this to my aerolas every time I pump (8 times a day - I have twins) and this stuff is a lifesaver on sore nipples. Like other reviewers have said, it is easy to wipe off too. Also, the Lanisoh left a residue on my breastshields that turned white from the friction of pumping....this stuff doesn't do that. I wish this was available with my first child!

Great quality and value and great range!, June 11, 2009 I have been using this monitor for about 3 weeks now. We brought home preemie twins and the need for a reliable, clear monitor was a must. This monitor has both the always on mode and the voice activated mode where you only hear if the baby makes noise. I don't mind the background "white noise", and like the reassurance of the "always on", but the voice activated mode is great for people who find the white noise distracting at bedtime.
I was hesitant to buy this since reveiwers at the Babies R Us website weren't as happy with this monitor as the Target customers, but decided to try it anyway.
One last note...Great range! We have a half acre lot and it works at the back of our lot where our daughter's playset is. That means campfires and even camping in the backyard this summer aren't out of the question!
Try it...if it doesn't work well for you, you can return it in store!

Don't hesitate...buy this one!, November 28, 2007 This is one of the best purchases I have made as a mom. I have frequently had bags lost on airline trips and was not about to have my son's Britax Marathon carseat lost or damaged. I also did not want his carseat to get dirty when it was in the baggage area of the airplane. Hence, the beauty of this product. This bag is truly the "Ultimate". It is padded so my son's carseat was not damaged, it has an easy zipper that allowed me to quickly get the carseat in and out, and it has shoulder straps to act like a backpack for me. I was able to carry my 15 month old son, the carseat on my back, and a large diaper bag for my trip by myself. This was great! I was also able to "gate check" the carseat which helped to alleviate my concerns about the seat getting lost. I recommend this product to everyone who will ever travel with their own carseat.

Handles like a DREAM!, October 15, 2007 I laugh to myself everytime I go shopping with my friends who have one of those bulky strollers (came with their travel system). I watch their poor kids get jostled around in their stroller as their moms try to maneuver through the stores, hitting racks and shelves. (often through rather generous sized openings) My stroller turns on a dime, even with one hand! I used to be that mom with my old lightweight stroller, I got so frustrated with bumping into things that I bought this one. (and heaven forbid if you have bags to hold onto or you are talking on your cell phone and trying to walk and steer with one hand)
The seat reclines so baby can drink a bottle or nap, you can even change her diaper in it if you need to. The harness straps can be unhooked to just a lap belt and the tray swings open for easy access (or you can remove it)
It is lightweight and has a generous storage compartment that you can access from the front or the back.
I love the color, it's so unique! It is also much more visible to cars when out walking.
I have had this stroller for about 3 months now....I wanted to give it a fair amount of time before rating it.
Overall, I LOVE this strolller, however there are a few things I wish were different:
1. The top cup holder should be a whole tray instead of just one cup holder.
2. Also, I would have liked a window in the canopy so I can see what baby is doing.
3. Buckle for lap belt is kind of hard to use, if you're not careful you will pinch your fingers.

Bissell Velocity Dual Cyclonic Upright Vacuum - 3950

AWESOME for carpets, not great on bare floors, July 18, 2007 I was planning to buy the Healthy Home model that cost twice as much, but after reading consumer reports, I was disheartened by all bagless vacuums. The Healthy Home was rated well in performance, but I tried it in the store and it was way too HEAVY!
Out of desperation, I searched the Target websites for a bagless with decent reviews. I found this one! So I took a leap of faith and bought it. My husband moaned and groaned that our old vacuum was fine. (I wanted a new one cuz we have a baby crawling around now and 3 cats)
To prove to me that this purchase was unnecessary, he vaccumed with the old vacuum (I insisted he vacuum the area TWICE), then used this one. WOW! It picked up so much cat hair and dirt (mostly cat hair) He admitted he was wrong! I LOVE this vacuum.
It is not good on bare floors, though. If you are barefoot you can feel it kicking sand or dirt back at you. Oh well, my old vacuum didn't do floors at all. That's why I have a broom! =) Hope this helps your decision!

Expressions Highchair - Congo

Excellent and easy to use, February 22, 2007 I bought this high chair when I was still pregnant and just used it for the first time with my 4½ month old. I was suprised at how easily the chair folds and unfolds and the seat adjusts. I am so used to my travel swing that requires a third arm to fold & unfold!
This is such a nice highchair and my daughter sat nicely in it for over 20 minutes after I finished feeding her so I could do dishes. Not sure about the toy thing though! I also love tray...it is very easy to put on & adjust, and to take off as well. Plus it has a removable dishwasher safe tray.

AWESOME for those Wisconsin winters!, February 22, 2007 This is a must have for all moms living in cold states! I live in Wisconsin and these are wonderful for transporting baby to and from the car in her carseat without having to bundle her up in a bulky snowsuit or jacket. Cozy and warm...I just wish they made these in adult sizes! This is a great shower gift!

Munchkin Standard Wipe Warmer
 |
|
Great Product!, November 16, 2006 When I registered for my baby shower, I left this item off my registry because I had read that they were a waste of money since they dried out the baby wipes. I found this exact warmer at a yard sale and figured for $2.00 I'd give it a shot. WOW!! The wipes are always nice and toasty...no burning and absolutely no drying out! I leave it plugged in 24 hours a day, (I have never added water). I haven't tried other brands, but the Huggies pop-up wipes (I buy the refills in bulk) work beautifully in this warmer. They tear off easily for one-handed use. This is a great product especially in the winter when the house is already chilly.
