 Great idea, bad implementation, November 18, 2008
This is a great device for people who do not want the expense of a BlackBerry. However, you still must pay for a monthly service, and you do not get the features that make a BlackBerry worthwhile, like a phone!
I can see the use of this for seniors who want to check e-mail or for a young child to use to be hip, but you are better off adding a line to your plan for $9.99 and buying a cheap smartphone. You will get more features and the ability to make phone calls.

So girly, yet so fun, September 27, 2007
My daughter and her friends are nuts about this toy. Finally given in to reading her J-14 magazines with her, I can understand why this product is such a big deal to her and her 10 year old army of friends. They take pictures of everything, from celebrities and family pictures to homemade art and wrapping paper and turn them onto these little bling bling pogs. They then carry them around, and tart up the other bags and picture frames they sell alongside the maker. It's cute, because they feel like they are expressing themselves. There is also a website where they can print off more pictures and talk to the animated girls that are on the packaging, so they can use the computer to add on to the fun, which stretches their attention span, so at least they're not bored.
