Great for making decorative burp cloths!, July 14, 2008 I make a lot of decorative burp cloths as gifts. These are the best diapers I have found so far. They are prefolded, but each section has an even thickness. They stay thick through washings, too. Very soft, very nice. I think they're great!

Pretty good for decorative burp cloths, July 14, 2008 I use cloth diapers to make decorative burp cloths. These are pretty good. They are folded into thirds, and the 2 outside pieces are thinner than the middle piece. They hold up pretty well in the wash. They are definitely NOT the same as the cheap 3 ply diapers available at [another retailer].
I think the best diapers for the burp cloths are the 6 ply diapers that come in a 6 pack (you can order them at Target.com or buy them in the store). Those have a pretty even thickness throughout all three sections, and they're a little bit nicer than this particular 12 pack. They cost a little bit more per diaper, but I think it's worth it.
