HELPFUL ASSEMBLY ADVICE

This play kitchen is actually extremely well made and not at all difficult to put together. I say this as a girl with a knack for numbers, NOT for mechanics. This piece builds just as well as anything I've ever bought from [anoyher store] (which is a lot). The holes all lined up perfectly and I had plenty of parts.
Tips to help you put it together with ease:
1. This is a ONE PERSON JOB. Seriously. Kick your spouse out of the room and it will go faster.
2. It requires a Phillips head screw driver to assemble. I recommend you use one with a MAGNETIZED HEAD. It will keep you from dropping/losing screws.
3. Unpack the entire box first and then definitely LAY OUT ALL THE PARTS. I actually laid the parts out in the same order as they were listed on the instruction sheet and it made the rest of the job go MUCH MUCH faster. Also it helps you avoid accidentally substituting incorrect pieces.
4. POUR YOURSELF A DRINK. It's going to take you around three hours to build this [..]. Don't rush, just sit back, relax and get started.
5. DO NOT DUMP OUT THE SCREWS. Seriously, keep those babies in their individual labeled bags. And be extremely careful about which screws you use to avoid putting a long screw all the way through the wood.
6. Most of the building is extremely easy and straight forward, but the hardest part is the last step, in which you attach the top of the kitchen to the bottom. Here's what worked REALLY FAST for me: LAY BOTH PIECES DOWN FLAT. Trying to reach your head around while defying gravity will give you [...] ANGRY results. Don't fight it, just lay it down flat and it goes much easier.
GOOD LUCK. Once built, I was SO SO happy with the quality of this little kitchen. I think my 2.5 year-old daughter is going to LOVE it.

It took my husband 3 hours to put this kitchen together!! We could not believe how many pieces there were when we took it out of the box. That being said..it is a WONDERFUL kitchen and my two year old daughter absolutely loves it. It was well worth the time and money, but be prepared to spend an entire evening putting it together!

This kitchen is absolutely beautiful. My daughters love it. My review echos the others posted. Just wonderful , but the assembly takes a very, very, very long time and is quite detailed. I found the instructions easy to follow and extremely clear....but seriously do not buy this and think you're gonna put it together Christmas Eve. Unless of course you have close to 4 hours. I should mention that I am quite handy and have assembled lots of other pieces. If you are prepared for the assembly, go for it. It is a wonderful kitchen.

I bought this for my daughters 3rd Birthday and she has been playing with it ever since. It only took my husband and I about 2 hours to put together. There are a lot of parts, but well worth the time spent once we saw the smile on her face on her Birthday and every day since. We love it!
Make sure you buy all the stuff that goes with it. Cupcakes, Pizza, cookies, plates, pots, pans ect. Everything is just so adorable...

If you buy this, be prepared to spend a lot of time putting together! I bought this for my daughter's birthday. It took my husband a couple days to assemble and he is very handy with tools. It is darling and she does love playing with it. Don't buy it for Christmas and expect to put it togther Christmas Eve. There are places where there should be holes already pre-drilled that were not there. If you do not have the time, patience and skills, do not buy. It's a great toy, but too much to put togther. Had I known this, I would have bought some other kitchen set.
