I like it. August 25, 2009 Reviewer:  online shopper "iffer" (yucaipa, ca. usa)  See all my reviews >

I have had mine now for a couple years, using it seasonally. I havent had any problems with it at all, no trays cracking or anything. It is a bit loud but no big deal for me. I havent owned any other dehydrator so I have nothing to compare it to but I do like this one and would buy it again.

Excellent for the money July 28, 2009 Reviewer:  pro-Hobbyist See all my reviews >

I've had this dehydrator for over a year now - it sees occasional to constant use (depending on the season)

It works fine. It could be quieter, but honestly it's in the kitchen, not the living room or the bedroom - so it's not really a problem.

You can make your own dehydrator, but not as cheaply as you can buy this one; it's a great starter unit. If you decide to branch out later and get a more high-tech unit you aren't out a lot of bucks, or you may decide like me that this one is plenty for what it does.

I'm building a solar one now, but I'm keeping this one - it doesn't depend on the sun, it holds a lot of ingredients in a reasonable space, and it dries just like it's supposed to.

Cheap Product March 12, 2009 Reviewer:  Jerky Boy See all my reviews >

As stated by other guests....the bottom tray will crack and break. Without the bottom tray, which turns the entire mechanism, the dehydrator is useless. They don't even offer a replacement bottom tray, just the top trays. Waste of money.

you get what you pay for... July 15, 2008 Reviewer:  Lesson Learned "N.W." (NY, NY)  See all my reviews >

...and you won't get much out of this cheap mess. The bottom tray cracked within 2 weeks of purchase and the unit is LOUD. Spend the money for a more quality dehydrator... you'll be sorry if you get this one.

Cheap July 3, 2006 Reviewer:  Orchid "Not happy" (SLC, Ut.)  See all my reviews >

You would think that if you were going to heat plasic it would be made to not crack. The most important part of this item is the bottom rack. It will crack after awhile due to the heat. Mine did within the first month of use.

This is a nice Dehydrator....But May 18, 2006 Reviewer:  Trena L. Hill Real Name (Brooklyn, New York)  See all my reviews >

This is a nice dehydrator, but it is not for a raw foodist.
The drying temperature gets up to 150 degrees, as stated only in the instruction manual. Obviously you can control the temperature by the vent on the top, but who has time for monitoring that. I gave the product three stars because of the price and style.

Food Dehydrator. November 23, 2005 Reviewer:  Ron See all my reviews >

The dehydrator itself is as advertised, and is a very good deal for the money. Price vs quality is above and beyond. [...] Over all, I'll still give it four stars.
Thanks, Ron.
