We purchased the desk chair, along with the cottage desk, for our tween daughter. The chair was simple to assemble and looks great. The only problem with the chair is that the paint scratches very, very easily. After a week of my daughter just sitting on the chair doing her homework, the chair has multiple black scratch marks.

I purchased this desk because it was in the youth category, but I should have paid closer attention to the dimentions because it is a standard size chair. (My 11 year old daughter's desk is a youth desk.)
The chair itself was easy to put together and appears to be sturdy. It matches well with the rest of my daughter's cottage white furniture I purchased elsewhere.
