Chicco makes items super easy to install and have some of the best safety rated items! Also to let others know this base works on ALL chicco key fit bases! It is not just for the Keyfit 30!

OK, I have two older kids and now I'm having a new baby. This car seat is by far the easiest to install of all the brands. It is more expensive than the Graco, but go to the store and look at just the two bases side by side. The base is much more solid, has higher quality parts, and is MUCH easier to install. The 'LATCH' hook ups are actually like their own little seatbelts and once you hook them up you can just pull this strap on the main unit to tighten. Look at the other ones, you have to jam your hand under the seat to hook and then jam your hand under the base to tighten each one seperately. There are very few items that are I think are worth raving about but just go see for yourself. (If you choose to buy the Graco seat THIS NEXT PART IS IMPORTANT) The Graco seats are very good and very safe (just a little bulkier and harder to install than the Chicco) but make sure you DON'T get one that doesn't have the harness that you can tighten and un-tighten from the front of the seat (in the middle where the babie's feet would be), make sure you find one that has this or getting your baby in and out of the seat is about 10X harder.

We got an extra base for my husband's car after getting sick of having to buckle the seat in any time we switched cars. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because for just a base I wish it weren't so expensive. The seat was already pretty pricey and we're on a tight budget. I read so many reviews though and the Chicco KeyFit rated so high that we went with it.

I knew I wanted the Chicco Key Fit infant seat for my baby before I even had her. Now that she's here, I absolutely LOVE it! Very easy to use, and works great with the base. We bought the extra base so that my husband and I could both have one in our vehicles. I highly recommend the Chicco Key Fit products!
