We had twin girls and used Diaper Dekors in three rooms of our house - kitchen, family room and the nursery. I bought this as a first time mom because it seemed easier than the Genie. No touch, no twisting, and reviews rated it more economical per diaper. Seems pricey, but if you do the math it's cheap. Refills lasted a long time. And all (3) of ours lasted for three years each with no problems. Like others have said - keep it clean and no smells! We wouldn't have put them all over if they had smelled.

We LOVE this! So much better than a Diaper Genie. We never have to twist anything or touch the pail while our hands are soiled. Controls odor very well. We have 2 babies in diapers and are constantly changing them, and this has a pretty large capacity. I always recommend the Diaper Dekor Plus to my pregnant friends!

I was so surprised to find that this didn't work the way I had heard. The bag roll runs out without warning leaving you with diapers falling all over the place as you try to install the replacement roll. It does not control odors very well. The flap down doors on ours stopped closing so now the dirty diaper odor permiates the room. I'm sure there is something better out there!

We absolutely LOVE ours. You simply step on the foot pedal, the top pops open and you drop the diaper in. The diaper will usually fall right through the "trap doors", so no need to put your hand inside and push down like you do with the Genie. I would definitely recommend this over the Genie. Our friends have a Genie and I always feel like I'm going to squish the dipaer with my hand trying to push it into the pail.

We used this for two years and loved it. We are buying another now that I am pregnant again. For those people that say it smells, you need to sanitize and change before it gets jam packed when they are on solid foods because the smell is stronger then and no diaper collector will be 100% stink free when they're on solid food! You need to empty it more often!

Let's face it, diapers stink. I've had my Diaper Dekor Plus for over 2 years and it does a great job of trapping the smell. For those who claim it doesn't work, I wonder, you do know to disinfect it from time to time-right? Hey, don't expect miracles from a plastic can holding poopoo for a few days! When the lid opens, yes, some odor will escape. After I toss a load of diapers out(3-4 days worth usually) I spray the inside with Lysol, close the door, and residual odors disappear! It is far superior to anything else I've seen on the market.

We've had this for 6 months now and it works great. We keep it in the baby's room and you don't notice any poopy diaper smells.

After your child turns 6 months you will need to throw it away. I had one that worked great for 5-6 mths and then OMG stink! I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new one and guess what - OMG stink! I threw both of them away. I would caution you to read reviews of those with babies over 6 months. I will not buy another one myself.

This diaper pail does not contain the smell. It stinks up the babies room. I wish I would have bought a diaper genie. It worked great with my first baby, no odors.
