Description
Lodge enamel cast iron is beautifully handcrafted. This pot features several layers of strong, chip resistant enamel. The enamel coating eliminates the need to "season" the cast iron, and creates a non–reactive surface that can be used for all types of cooking, as well as marinating, refrigerating, or freezing. This also makes an elegant serving dish and keeps food warm while on the table. Suitable for use on all types of stoves on low to medium temperatures, and in all ovens below 500 degrees. The pot's lid, with its stainless–steel leaf–shaped handle, seals in flavors and moisture, while two side handles that flank the pot allow for safe, secure transport. Do not use in microwave. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended. Lifetime warranty.
