I was so disappointed to see Target carrying fur. One of the reasons I have bought Target clothing in the past is because I have never seen them carry real fur in the clothing section, only faux. There is no need to use real when there are excellent synthetic alternatives that are just as warm and stylish. (Unless you are an Eskimo living off the land or wearing a hand-me down, recycled or similar extenuating type situations there is simply no need.)
I had worn out my clothing and really needed to buy some items and I had just received a Target coupon in the mail. I was looking forward to buying some much needed clothing and a couple other items from Target. I have been a great customer in the past and really enjoyed Target's style, design, and sense of fun and this really upsets me.
Why would Target alienate so many customers and potential customers in a troubled financial climate like this? It makes no sense to me. I look down and see my sweet dog laying at my feet and this whole fur thing just makes me so sad.
I hope that by some tiny possibility that this is actually faux fur and Target just mis-titled it. But it sure doesn't appear that way. I will not buy all the clothing I had planned on purchasing from Target and from now on I will be buying my clothing elsewhere. I would prefer my money to go to a store that is not hurting little animals to make fancy fur lined hoods etc.
