I have it in my office and the lower pegs are great for umbrellas and the like. fits behind my door, too...thinking abt getting one for home, too.

i purchased two of these coat racks for each of my college students. they both have graduated and the coat racks were so helpful in keeping their tiny dorm rooms tidy. the lower pegs were used for purses, belts and book bags. the upper pegs held their many hoodies and towels. it was dismantled every summer and put back together again for another semester. well worth the money for such a space saver.

i had no problem assembling this. I love it! It looks great in my house. I love the whole natural mission collection. I also have the coffee table and desk. I wish they'd make as many natural mission styles as they do regular mission!

This rack is un-assemblable. The hole sizes do not match. Obviously very little engineering thoughts were put into this, we are pretty much just buying raw materials (wood with pre-drilled holes, two of the key ones don't match). I saw similar situation handled very well in other furniture, and it is not hard at all to design it to work. But this, is just a joke. You might as well buy several pieces of wood from [a home improvement store] and put them together yourself, saving money, because you'll have to buy glue or nails to make it work anyway. I am returning it soon.

My coat rack gets medium to light use. That said, it has been durable, looks decent, and serves its purpose well. Installation required absolutely NO hardware and the unit is quite sturdy. Definitely worth the inexpensive price.

I was tired of all of the coats lying on the floor in our SMALL entryway, so I got this coat rack. I LOVE IT! It fits perfect in the small space and we have about 6 Spring coats hanging on it right now. I love the lower hooks, so that the kids can hang their coats up themselves. And it is SUPER easy to put together. No tools needed, the pieces just screw toghether. I would highly recommend this item.

This is a great item for the price because it seems pretty strong. We have two of them, one I've had for about a year. They are holding some pretty heavy winter coats & a fully loaded purse right now. They can be a tiny bit wobbly, but thats easily remedied by putting some silicone or felt pads on a couple of the feet to balance it out. The style & color blends in pretty easy with our furniture. Nothing outstanding, but a very practical product. I'm ordering several more for all our other rooms because they are doing such a good job. Just a simple practical product & you are getting what you pay for, which seems rare these days.

So here's the good news...this coat rack seems to be really a good deal if you can get one that was manufactured properly. It appears that some buyers were lucky and others not...I decided to take a chance and get it online, since it was returnable to a local store. The coat rack that I recieved had one (and only one) major defect. The metal piece needed to thread the bolted bottom pole was missing so I couldn't assemble it. But I do intend to return it to the store tomorrow and see if they carry it. If they don't, I will consider ordering it again because I can always return it locally. Had everything assembled, i suspect I would have rated this coat rack five stars.
got new coat rack after returning the previous one at the store. The new coat rack was perfect and I would now rate it 5 stars if it gave me a chance to provide a new rating. I recommend the rack as it was now perfect.

This coat rack was perfect for our family. I just needed something for the coats instead of throwing them over the chair. Its not fancy but it fits our needs. It was so easy to put together, only took a few minutes and you dont need any tools. I liked it so much I bought two of them!
