I became obsessed with Capiz when I saw some similar lamps in [an upscale] catalog. When I saw these, I had to get them b/c the [upscale] ones are smaller and cost $99 each, so I thought the price was a bargain. The next week, they were on sale [...] and I got a price adjustment, so now I have two fabulous Capiz lamps for less than the price of one of [the upscale retailer's]! These lamps are gorgeous; they give off this sexy, soft glow and the sound that they make when touched is heavenly. I'm so pleased with my purchase.

Great quality and beautiful to boot. Works best with soft round light bulbs (like are used around bathroom mirrors) - I'd had a very bright bulb in there first and now and then you could see the bulb through the capiz shells and it was too bright. But with the soft bulb it casts a wonderful glow. And with the ceiling fan on, the two layers of dangling shells tinkle together softly. Love this lamp!
