we've had this humidifier for a couple of weeks. first night started smoking, we figured it was from Dad moving after he had filled it. Since then worked fine, moisture pours out, very quiet except for the constant drip sound that I find annoying. Suddenly tonight, my son wakes up in the middle of the night and doesn't go back to sleep and I go in to check and the room is full of smoke! I have no idea why, but no moisture was coming out and the smoke was coming from the humidifier, for sure. Guess I will be taking this back & glad I didn't let my son "cry it out" tonight! I looked - anyone else had this problem?!

I just bought this for my daughter and it has to be the most quiet humidifier I have ever owned. I am still able to hear her on the monitor when she is sleeping at night and it moistens the air quite well. I would definitely recommend this to new moms!!!

I love the design of this one. Its very cute, its very quite no matter what setting you have it on. You hear a slight dripping sound on the higher speeds but its barely noticable. I bought the filter to go along with it but you dont have to use the filter if you just buy distilled water. its pretty easy to clean. My daughter loves to look at it.

This is worth the money. My daughter loves it and I like the fact that it is child friendly. It is easy to clean and the filter is not like the other ones where it turns colors and starts to smell.

Bought this a week ago for my baby and it is fantastic. I have had several others for myself and they were all loud and bright (lights/control pannel etc)
This is so quiet and humidifies the room well. Love the many choices for humidity level. Very easy to use.

This humidifier works great in my daughter's room. It puts out enough steam and looks cute in her room. In other reviews people say their child wants to play with it, but I have a 5 year old who has used this as well as my daughter and I just taught him it is not a toy. Just something he can look at. Overall I would recommed this if you want a cute humidifier for your nursery.

I bought this humidifier out of frustration over a different (brand) humidifier that didn't work. If only I had purchased this one in the first place. It is very quiet and has a wide range of mist settings depending on the climate. Another bonus...no filters to replace!

This is the fourth cool mist humidifier that we've purchased and it is by far the quietest. The Vicks humidifier that I bought kept everyone awake at night because it was so loud. With this humidifier, you hear a low hum and an occasional quiet gurgle. The amount of humidity that the machine puts out is adjustable. If you lower the amount of mist, the reservoir lasts longer than the 11 hours stated on the packaging. We have ours set on a moderate setting and it last for about 20 hours before refilling.

The only caution that I have is that the user should make sure that the reservoir is properly seated prior to turning it on, or it won't work or may leak water.
