Dark and thin - perfect for layering

As noted by another reviewer, the color is very dark, which is just what I was hoping for. The 'tissue' element is perfect - this is very thin with a wide/deep scoop, perfect for layering. I find that it seems true to size, and I got one a size larger so it would fit a little looser for layering. I also find that when hand/gentle washing and hanging (or laying flat) to dry, it keeps its size and shape very well. All in all, an excellent buy, and an instant favorite. (I even wore it out to a fancy dinner with nice pants and boots, and didn't look like I was 'just in a tank and t-shirt', though I was just as comfy.)

i found this shirt in my normal size (S) too clingy and a bit cheap for my tastes, but in an XL, it looked beautifully "edie sedgwick" on me.

Love the weight of the fabric, and love the color - as the previous reviewer noted, the stripes are much more subtle in person. I like it that way rather than blatant stripes. I am fairly small (5'4" & 115 lbs), and on me the scoop neck appears much deeper; it almost skims top of my bra. Makes it feminine looking. I usually wear misses size 2, and liked how S fit on me - not too tight, not too big. If you are my size (0-2) and want more body-hugging fit, you might want XS.

Order one or two sizes up, because when washed according to the label (hand wash, air dry) it still shrinks two sizes! Its a totally cute top, but after it's washed it doesn't have that 'tissue' quality anymore either. sad!

In real life the navy blue is such a dark midnight shade that the stripes are hardly visible at all - a very cool effect, I love mine! Fits true to size. I bought this one a size down because I like how it looks skin-tight (whereas I thought the one with white stripes I also bought looked better in my regular size, i.e. with just a bit of looseness to the fit).

I got this color as well as the navy and white version of this top. I like this one, because it closer to Proezna Schouler's usual color palette. Very comfy and nice for layering. But even my nude-colored bra shows right through, so I'll probably wear a gray tank underneath.

These tissue tees are so lightweight and comfy. Very flattering on its own and wonderful for layering. The fit is true to size.
