Hubby adores roasted garlic, but hates waiting the hour for an oven roasted garlic. This little baby gets the job done in about half the time.
Make sure you choose med size garlic cloves: the jumbo, enormo cloves just don't roast as uniformly as their smaller counterparts.
Uncork a bottle of something yumm... Serve your garlic as an appetizer w/ delish crackers and gorgonzola/camembert and table grapes... better yet, split it all w/ your lover and yeeha!

We got this item in black for a wedding present, and I must say it is awesome. It ranks up with the top five gifts we got!
We use it as often as possible. It takes 27 minutes for a full cycle, and the garlic turns out better than any I have ever had. There is a small terra cotta ring that you soak in water before it cooks. The ring goes in the bottom, under the pan, which also has a handle attachment to remove after cooking-(bonus). I assume that the ring creates a steaming effect, along with the heat giving the top of the garlic a caramelized look. It is wonderful, and we have recommended it to many friends.

Just cut off the top of the head of the garlic, put some salt and olive oil, and in 30 min you'll have the best roasted garlic.
It's healthy and delicious.

Dang,,,,sure wish you had the black that is now out. I may have to give mine away and buy another. So, get the black in..... Best Garlic.... YUMMMMM....... Much better than the oven-crock style. And, cooking these makes the house smell soooooooooooooooooooo good.

Throw out all the old garlic roasters you have and get this automatic electric one. It is fool proof. Instructions: Put in some olive oil & salt. Cut the top off to bare the cloves and put upside down in roaster. Close lid and press button. In 27 minutes you will have the best roasted garlic ever. The roasted cloves just squeeze right out. Capacity is 3 medium heads or 2 1/2 large heads. Now, my favorite is to use butter instead of the olive oil. Yum - Yum

Use a high quality olive oil, add a little sea salt and put the garlic bulb(s) in. In 30 minutes you have absolutely perfect roasted garlic - as good or better than any resturant, anywhere.
