I purchased this item in red and the snaps are very hard to align and snap. I never was able to snap two of them. Also, once snapped they unsnap very easily if moved. Manufacturer needs to work on this product, it has so much room for improvement.

The boxes are terrible. Snapping them is next to impossible. And if you do get them snapped, they fall apart as soon as you try to fill the box with files. Spend a little more somewhere else.

There were no dimensions of the file box in the description so by the looks it seemed like it would fit. Was willing to return if it did not fit. Got the product which was shipped to me in an "Allen Bike Racks" box that was WAY too oversized for what was sent and the filler material did not really protect the file boxes. Most came out ok, but one of the box tops was bent.

VERY easy to put together, no issues with the snaps, at least with the one box I did put together. However, as there were no dimensions, of course they did not fit in my bookcase. I have the [..] Billy bookcase. So, product looks like it will work fine for files, appears nice for the price, however there needs to be dimensions as I now need to return them. BTW, Dimensions are 9 3/8"H x 14 5/8"W x 12 1/8" D. Worth getting if those dimensions fit your bookcase.

Good quality, strong file box. Easy to assemble-I just laid the snap sides flat down and whacked from the inside with my fist, no problems at all. The top seemed a little over-sized though. Otherwise ok.

You can't do much better than this for the price. If you're looking for some attractive storage boxes on a budget, these work great. Two caveats:
1) They are fairly difficult to put together. There are three snaps on each corner, and one always tended to be extremely difficult. My husband put this together with some difficulty, but found that if you start with the top snap, they tended to line up a bit better.

2) While these are more sturdy than average cardboard boxes, I wouldn't advise using them to store anything heavy if you plan to move the box around a lot (as opposed to just having it sit on the shelf).

So far so good. They do have a slight odor, but i didn't find it as strong or as offensive as others have suggested. I didn't have any problems getting them snapped. It would have been nice to have the dimensions listed. Also the material is a little less dense than i anticipated, but seems to be sufficiently sturdy. Very nice, clean lines - a great way for me to hide clutter and files!

Just figured I'd throw out there that the ones I got were just fine and worth the money. They snapped together just fine (although I haven't unsnapped them) and they didn't smell bad or anything. A little bigger than I expected which is nice. If you are going to be moving them around a lot or putting super heavy things in them then they might not be for you. I use one for filing which I access maybe twice a week and the other for odds and ends, blank cds etc, and they serve my needs well. I feel they are sturdy enough for my use but could be a little stronger which is why I left off the 5th star. It's not like I plan to leave them to my kid when I go, but I definitely think it's worth the price and shipping.

I wish I would have read the reviews first. As all others have stated, snaps are VERY hard to get snapped. I do not have all of mine snapped. Also, just barley touch it and it falls apart. I was so surprised at this. It looks so nice but in reality, it just does not work well at all and is not worth anything. Had someone gave me this for a gift, I would have thrown it away, not even returned it. Would have thought they couldnt have paid much for it and in the garbage it goes. I will not bother to exchange this now that i have read the reviews, I will just replace it when I can and toss it!!!
