Best Cup on the market!! January 13, 2004 Reviewer:  Trisha Pauleon (ATL, GA)  See all my reviews >

My son is now 2 and has been a bottle baby. We have atleast 10 different cups and he has always refused them and screamed for his bottle.
Lastnight we bought this terrific cup and he has not asked for the bottle yet! I will now be putting the bottles away for good this time! I will be ordering a few more so we always have one on hand.
They are pricey, but if I wouldn't have bought all the other cups, I'd have had plenty of money saved just by buying these in the first place!

Magic cup range is BPA free - completely safe! April 25, 2008 Reviewer:  Concerned Mom "Momma C." (Virginia)  See all my reviews >

Just wanted to let all the worried parents out there know - the Magic Cup range does not have the "potentially" harmful leaching BPA in them - they are made from different plastic material. So, if you're worried about the Avent bottles (the 9 oz and 4 oz) then discard those and use the sippy cups with the nipples / or sippy cup top - they are safe!

Great Cup July 14, 2004 Reviewer:  Janine Smith (Enid, OK)  See all my reviews >

I have to agree with the other reviews. My daughter is 6 months and when the doctor gave the ok for juice I wanted her to start drinking it from a cup. I bought other cups and she would just cry for the bottle. I decided to by these AVENT cups because we also use this brand bottle and this is the only cup she will drink out of. We are still in the practice stage considering she is still young, but I don't have to fight with her at all. She is still getting good at holding the cup, but it is not a problem because when she drops the cup nothing spills!! I have even tried to see if she would drink from the other cups and she just screams until I give her the AVENT cup.

Definately Magical !!!! March 4, 2004 Reviewer:  Bridgette (Rockingham, NC USA)  See all my reviews >

My son was a breast fed baby exclusively for 10months, then he cut teeth and decided that he wanted to bite. Well, that just wasn't gong to happen. He would take a sippy cup just fine for juices and such, and had been from about 5months, but when it came down to drinking milk, the sippy cup idea didn't seem to appeal to him, nor did the bottle. Then I got him one of the Avent Magic cups.....he loved it, and still, at 2years of age, it's the only cup that he will drink milk from. We never had a problem will spilling/leaking, infact, the only problem that I have is you can't find the Avent line locally where I live.

Great Cups February 29, 2004 Reviewer:  Christina Marston (Norman, OK)  See all my reviews >

I absoulutly love these cups. They are the best no-spill cups on the market. My 1-year old loves to walk around with it and throw it around. It never spills which is a great thing when I have red Kool-Aid in it!!!!

Big fan, despite rare and fixable leaks January 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Reverend Mother (Rural East-Central WI, USA)  See all my reviews >

I love the Avent product line because you can mix and match all the various bottles, spouts, nipples, collars, lids, etc. for everything from newborn feeding to pre-schooler sippy and sports bottles. It's much nicer than having shelves full of different mis-matched bottles, sippers, lids, etc. I have found that when they leak, they do leak a lot, which was disappointing at first. However, it's not frequent, and it can be fixed by removing and re-tightening the collar and/or re-eating the nipple/spout. Rarely, the nipple/spout might need to be traded out. It's a mystery why these otherwise leak-proof bottles sometimes don't quite fit together tightly enough the first time. Certain individual collars and nipples/spouts just don't seem to seal properly at first. However I've found that the impressive convenience of the total system far outweighs the need to occasionally loosen and re-tighten the tops. I highly recommend the Avent line, especially now that they are providing BPA-free items.

Excellent - expensive - hard to find September 12, 2004 Reviewer:  JGo "digging4roots" (Albany, OR, USA)  See all my reviews >

Leaking: put the pieces in wrong or over tighten, and they will leak. Pay attention to the assembly so you put the small plastic pieces in exactly as they came out and it won't leak.

Hard to find: local stores/markets rarely cary Avent line of products. I would guess it's because they don't sell. They probably don't sell because they're ...

Expensive: finally found an Avent Magic cup in a market. It was $8 for one cup. Since then, haven't been able to find any at any price at my local stores.

We're raising our granddaughter and she's a drug baby. Change doesn't come easy to her and it's very hard to teach her anything new. After trying every cup on the market (the reason I only purchased one at the time), this one finally did the trick.

AMAZING!!! February 26, 2009 Reviewer:  Mom of one Boy "Jenn :)" (Warren, MI)  See all my reviews >

I bought these sippy's because I got the bottles and ALL the tops are interchangeable!! so now I have 10 sippy's, all I had to do was buy the new nipples and handles! I like them so much I went online and found other people selling them (on craigslist) and went to mom2mom sales and bought more!! I love them and they have NEVER leaked for me! and as far as "hard to clean the nipple" if you have a dish washer that cleans it!! and if not a bottle scrubber with the nipple cleaner works great!! either way, i have 10 of these and none have leaked and i havent had a problem with cleaning the nipples... its an AMAZING sippy and i recommend it completely!!

I love these cups! January 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Katy/Mom of 3 (Fort Worth, TX, USA)  See all my reviews >

I know my sippy cups -- I have bought them all and these are awesome on so many levels.

If the "nipple" is seated properly into the ring, these cups do not leak. A few times I have experienced leaks when I wasn't careful about making sure it snapped in properly, didn't tighten the ring, or didn't push the stopper disk in far enough, so it was user error.

I like that the rubber disk that keeps the leaks out can be removed and easily washed completly unlike other sippy cups whose stoppers just seem like a bacteria playground.

I also love that regular avent nipples fit in, so I can occasionaly use it as a bottle (we're still on that last night time bottle) and free up a bunch of space in my cabinets. The shape is easy to hold but not a space waster like some other oddly shaped brands.

The plastic, while BPA free (big plus) is thick and sturdy -- holds up well to drops and high dishwasher temps.

My older kids will use these without the stoppers because the sipper doesn't have a "baby" feel to it, so it is great for older kids as a mess resistent option for car rides etc.

I also love that this sippy has a snap on cover -- not many sippys do. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because avent needs to find a way to incorporate a way for the cover to snap on the bottom so it is not easily lost. All sanitation pros go out the door if you lose the lids (same issue with their infant bottles)

Avent Has Lost Their Reliability April 23, 2009 Reviewer:  Mom of 2 "Bibah B" (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

I am so disappointed w/Avent...I have had issues with the sippy cup & Tempo. I called Avent's customer service and was given a MAJOR attitude as if the issues I experianced was my fault. If I knew this company was so unreliable and not customer friendly I would have went with a different nursing/sippy set company. My sister uses Dr. Brown's and she hasn't had any issues!
