I took a chance and ordered this online, without having ever tried it on at my local Target, which I usually prefer to do first. Well, I lucked out. It is a great little khaki jacket with cool shaping and details. Sure, you see many short khaki jackets, most are military/cargo styling, but this one is so unique with the cut of the fabric. The fabric is thin, but well made. I would recommend this as a spring, summer evening or early fall jacket. It fits well, but snug, not tight. I do not think you could wear any type of long sleeve sweater with it. I suggest a tank, cami or short to sleeveless t-shirt. This is meant to complete the look of an outfit, not as a jacket to keep you warm, except on a cooler evening or day. Personally, I love it, but if you don't.......Remember, you always have 90 days to get a full refund at any Target with your receipt. It must have the tags on, but even if it goes on sale after you purchase it, you will still get the full amount you paid for it on your receipt. This is for store purchases and online purchases as well. Always....SAVE your receipts!!

I love my jacket and I can't tell you how many compliments I've received on it. It is very flattering with the cropped length. Looks great with a fitted top and wide legged jeans. The khaki color goes great with almost anything. I highly recommend this piece.

I bought this jacket today...it looks so cool on. The cut of it, the military accents, but also the thin casualness of it, just makes it the best, for jeans or with black straight leg pants. It does have stretch to it, I usually wear a medium, but opted for the large in this one. I like the look of it being a bit loose, not all buttoned up and form fitting. Comfy & Cool! This one is a winner.

This jacket is made with a thin, stretchy woven cotton, so like the other reviewer suggests, you can go down one size on this jacket with no problem if you are wearing something relatively fitted under the jacket. To be honest, I think the quality of this jacket is only OK for the price (no jacket lining, some loose threads at the edges that'll need to be trimmed), but the style and detailing are good enough to make up for the average quality. It's probably not very clear from the picture, but the jacket has some interesting details like diagonal seams across the shoulder, crisp pleats on the pockets, contoured reinforcements at the cuffs and contoured seams on the back. The cut is very flattering for someone with decent abs, it'll make the waist appear more narrow and elongated and the shape of the back panel will make the torso look more triangular. For those of you who are concerned that this jacket may be hard to style because of its unusual shape, the jacket looks more like a regular jacket when worn completely unbuttoned. Also keep in mind that since the fabric is on the thin side, the jacket may require some light ironing after it's gone through the wash. I've already seen a few jackets on the rack with some crumpling at the points on the bottom of the jacket.

This jacket looks awesome on! The shape is unique and will give you a tapered look (with its triangular cuts, front and back). The fabric is lightweight cotton and also stretches and gives a little; so if you like your jackets a little tighter and close to the body, go down one size. It's definitely not office wear, but brisk summer nights or crisp fall days would be a perfect time to wear this little rock'n'roll jacket.
