The chairs are easy to put together, the whole set is wonderfully sturdy and it looks fantastic. The table is rectangular w/out the leaf inserted and works great w/4 chairs; for 6 or 8 chairs, insert the leaf to convert it into a great square table. The finish is a really rich, dark wood stain. Love it!

This set is awesome looking. Everyone who has seen it remarks how great it looks and can't believe we got it from Target (I LOVE TARGET!!) It was easy to put together, though it took a couple hours for all five pieces. No problems with delivery or parts whatsoever. But it is cheaper to buy the table and chairs separately!

The table is very nice, beautiful, and arrived with no imperfections. The instructions were reasonably clear and assembly was not that bad.
The only problem is that mine set included some wrong pieces (two of the chairs had no front stretchers). I'm currently trying to get replacement parts sent to me. The replacement part website didn't have the right item number, but I found one similar and spoke on the phone with a representative to get a replacement. The arrived replacements are the wrong color so I still have to contact them again to get the right part.
