Despite some reviews to the contrary, I had no problem with assembly of this unit and although the box was very beat-up, the furniture pieces inside were in perfect condition due to adequate protection. When assembled, this is a beautiful piece of furniture that looks expensive and more importantly, doesn't look mass produced. The color is great, a deep drown with a hint of red (a bit darker than appears online). It is very stable (it comes with anchoring hardware, but I can't imaging needing it). Our 42" plasma flat screen is a parfect fit. You could technically fit a 50" on it and maybe even larger - it can take the weight - but it will start to look disproportionate after 42 or 46 inches. My only complaint was that I had to drill holes in the back panels for cords. Although this is billed as an entertainment console, it only has one large hole for the middle cabinet, and even that needs to be cut out with a saw or drill. I used a 1" hole drill for the narrower side cabinets that hold our DVD player and PS. Our receiver, CD player and cable box fit snuggly in the wider center cabinet. All told, this is probably the best piece of furniture I have ever bought that wasn't hand built.

Target has proven once again to be a reliable source for quality products. This tv stand was not only simple to assemble, but looks fantastic and is incredibly sturdy. The shelving inside provides lots of room, perfect for DVD’s, video games, CD’s the works. The center (so far) fits a cable box, DVD player, VCR, and an old school Nintendo with room on either side to hide away remote controls etc. Despite claiming to only hold a 27” tv, it can easily handle up to a 42”. It definitely requires two people to put together but will only take about 1 ½ hours. I love it, it looks great, and I’m *very* happy with my new “media console”.

This is one beautiful piece of furniture; looks better than the picture!
We did not have any trouble putting it together, or with the delivery. It looks great with our 50 inch tv, has plenty of storage room, is sturdy, and the remote controls work through the lattice doors.
Highly recommended!

We love this Console and have received a lot of great complements on it. Some things to keep in mind though:
- A bit darker than what you see in the picture.
- There are some dents on key places: on a couple doors and on the top....some stain will definitely fix this.
-Two of the doors won't close properly

I LOVE this piece! Firstly let me say, I ordered this from the website on 06/09..Target sent me an e-mail to say it shipped on 06/10 and I could expect it in 3 to 5 working days..it arrived on 06/11! In perfect condition :) Way to go, Target..it's so NICE to have great customer service, what a nice change from the norm.
Now then, this table. The assembly instructions are clear and methodical and it only took me a couple hours to do it. It is GORGEOUS! You would never look at it and think it came in a flat box and was assembled bit by bit by ME on my living room floor. It's got a gorgeous color, it's quite unique-looking, it goes really well with everything else in the room...has a great feel to it. This thing is lavish, I absolutely love it. It's sturdy and heavy, really really a GREAT piece...you won't go wrong here.

I absolutely adore this console! It was simple to put together. I did it under an hour. It took a little bit to get it out of the box, but once I read the instructions and got busy, I had it done quite quickly. The finish is beautiful and the thing is heavy! I also love that it has no glass to clean and I can still use the remote controls for all the equipment hidden inside it! I highly recommend this piece of furniture to anyone looking to have quality for the price. Most of the expensive furniture is laminate. This thing is all wood and pretty!!

I shopped around for a while for a unique TV stand and I kept coming back to this one. I am sure glad I did. It was easy to put together (the directions were written out nicely, so it wasn't confusing) my dad came over and helped me, although I could've done it myself if I had to. It's solid wood making it a very sturdy, high quality piece of furniture. The finish is beautiful and I just love it. The only thing I had to do is buy some touch up stain, because there was a small blemish, scuff on the front door. Now it's not noticeable. The 15% off and free shipping made the price a steal for the price range I was looking for. The picture doesn't do it justice. So, I guess you could say, it exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

We looked everywhere for a TV stand that looks like we are making an effort. This one caught my eye immediately but I had my doubts because of the reviews, finally I took a chance and no regrets at all! The color is great, the finish is clean, and it’s heavy. I can’t believe we got it for that price.

It took me about 2.5 hours to put it together by myself, but once it was together? FANTASTIC. Solid wood. Wonderful finish. I have a 42 inch television on it. Sturdy as can be. I can't be happier. Grab one up before it's too late!!

Was worried after reading reviews that this would either arrive damaged or be difficult to put together, but we had no problems at all. Came in two days, went together beautifully and looks amazing. All for less than $200. No better deal than that.
