CUTE BUT BAD November 2, 2007 Reviewer:  Happiness "S. Perez" (Fremont, CA)  See all my reviews >

I have to say that these shoes are cute but the strap is poor. I bought these shoes on line and wore them one day and before the end of the day the strap broke.. good thing I was able to print the receipt on line as I had a meeting that evening and had to run to Target to exchange them which they did. The next time I wore them .. NEW PAIR the same thing happened. The strap broke. Now they are in a box under my bed. Most likely I will remove the strap and give them to goodwill maybe someone else can use them. I wouldn't buy these shoes again especially regular price.

Cute but uncomfortable October 17, 2007 Reviewer:  B. Campisi "Yazzle's Fan" Real Name (California)  See all my reviews >

Even though this shoes looks so cute, they are very very uncomfortable! the shoe is so hard that it makes the walk really painful, you need to add some cushion insoles to make it better but still after that,my feet still suffered but at least the look very cute with summer dresses!

Very cute and fairly comfortable August 21, 2007 Reviewer:  M. Johnson Real Name (Portland, OR United States)  See all my reviews >

I got these in the store on 75% clearance, so the previous bad reviews didn't really deter me. I thought these were cute from the moment I first saw them, but didn't think they were worth the original price. Patience pays! :)

Anyway, I've worn them twice (including shopping/walking around) and I must say they were more comfortable than I expected for this type of shoe.

I will agree that the heels do seem to be a hot spot. My heels didn't hurt while I wore them, but they were red and sore the next day. The shoes even rubbed them a little raw through a band-aid, which was a surprise. Still...I don't think that's much "damage" at all from a shoe like this. Most cute shoes with any kind of heel or lift will have you crying in mercy within a few hours. My policy: If I can wear them shopping, then they're more comfortable than average.

Another thing to note, they seem to be sized a bit small. I usually wear a 10, and only an 11 if the shoe manufacturer runs small or has very pointy toes. I got an 11 in these and they fit almost perfectly (barefoot). Whereas the Xhilaration brand seems to be running big (11's are almost too big on me), Mossimo is running otherwise!

Finally, it's important that you tie these correctly for them to be comfortable. I've noticed if I leave the ankle ribbons too loose, they shift around a lot more (hence rub your ankle a lot more!).

Very cute August 6, 2007 Reviewer:  Beth See all my reviews >

I am so pleased with the shoes. They are perfect pair for a few sundresses I own. I recommend this for anyone who loves playful heals!

Absolutely stunning! August 3, 2007 Reviewer:  iwone See all my reviews >

I was a little hesitant to order these shoes because of the reviews I read, but since they were cheap I decided to order them anyway. I'm glad I did because I love them and they're really cute! You can dress them up or down. Despite the comments about the shoes being uncomfortable, they were surprisingly one of the most comfortable shoes I have in my closet!

OUCH! July 29, 2007 Reviewer:  Kelliereese "Kellie G." (Austin Tx Area)  See all my reviews >

OMG!!! I saw these shoes (in red) in the store and had to have them because they are soooo cute, but let me tell you this... They are the MOST uncomfortable shoes ever! My feet are still in therapy (they cringe when they see wedges/heels), and I've only worn them once, 4 months ago. My toes were numb and my heels were torn up, and by the end of the day, I was limping, had to drive home bare foot... If anyone can wear these and not have adverse affects to their feet, more power to ya! I will be selling mine in a garage sale, to any brave soul whose willing to risk feeling in their feet.

Painful July 18, 2007 Reviewer:  Cinder (Madison, WI, USA)  See all my reviews >

I was so excited to find these cute shoes at such a great price. I wore them the first night I bought them for about 2 hours, and 5 days later I still can't wear any shoes with a closed back. These shoes cut my heels up so badly it hurts every time I take a step. I would not recommend these to my worst enemy.

so sad June 13, 2007 Reviewer:  VA Beach "izzy" (Virginia beach, Va,USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought these in navy and could not have been more excited being a devotee of the designer who target knocked off! Sad to say I wore them for the first time and they cut up the heels of my feet sooooo badly I will not be able to wear closed back shoes for a while. I should have spent the money on the original. I learned my lesson. I will never wear them again, so they are in the trash now!!!!

Broke on the second wear May 14, 2007 Reviewer:  Erin L "Erin L" (Richmond, VA)  See all my reviews >

I fell in love with these shoes months ago since they look like Christian Louboutin's espadrilles from last season. However, I was very dissappointed when the ribbon that ties around the ankle broke after only two wears. I took them back and did not get another pair because I figured the same thing would happen again.

So Cute, So Cheap May 12, 2007 Reviewer:  Shooluva (Fairfax, VA USA)  See all my reviews >

I too loved these at first sight, but, just like the previous reviewers-found that the ribbons frayed during my first wearing. I was at work, so I had to find a safety pin in my desk to keep the ribbons on. Good try Target-how about following the previous reviewer's suggestion and threading the ribbons through a heel loop? Couldn't cost THAT much more, could it?
