I saw another girl wearing this and loved it. I had no idea where she got it, and then happened into Target! The pleat is a lil goofy, but not a deal breaker. And another person mentioned the gapping of the buttoned accents on the sides. They can be removed or just pull a little and they lay flat. Problem solved! A little pricey though, agreed.

i wanted this skirt as soon as i saw the first picture. and in person, it's even cuter. but as soon as i put it on, that pleat in the middle made me look ridiculous. which is sad, as i loved the way it fit, the stretch and feel of the fabric.

saw previous reviews after i ordered it. also wanted to like it but the pleat was very wide in the front and the bottun details on the side gapped out, no extra button to move it to and didnt want to alter. going to return. maybe if i find it on clearance i would purchase and do alterations.

I tried the white skirt on in the store before buying the green one online, I was expecting to hate it based on others' reviews.
Even though this skirt runs in normal sizes, surprising considering everything else in this line runs very small, I ended up getting a size bigger. I found the pleat sits right if it's a little big and the waist sits low on your hips.
The skirt is a bit shorter than it appears in the photo, but it hit me about an inch above my knees because I'm 5'3".
I really like the skulls and whales motif and it's a great summer skirt.

I have to agree with Aurora. I wanted this skirt so badly, but the pleating just looked weird. I went down a size and it was still a bit big in the waist.

I wanted to like this. The pattern is very cute. I mean, how can you not love little embroidered whales who have teeth alongside skulls and crossbones. However, it fit funny. It seemed too wide and the pleat looked odd. Not flattering.
