Cute but waaaay too short

This string of lights is way too short to be useful (only 7' from plug to plug). I have a 7' x 9' balcony so just to light the railing would cost $ .
Also, the distance from the first light to the cord is only about 12 - 18 inches. The cord is fairly unattractive (three individual strands) and the lights are not easy to install. It's a cute idea, but not implemented well.
