Inexpensive, does its job

I have been pleased with this shredder, it is the most inexpensive I've found but it has been durable. I shredded an entire file drawer full of old bills and papers recently and as long as you only feed it 3-4 pages at a time, it is fine. It will choke on much more. It can even handle shredding credit cards (one at a time). It would be nicer to have a cross cut machine but this has been worth the few $$s invested.

This paper shredder is the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought. It works only for 2 minutes, then I stops.
If you want to use it again, you have to wait until motor cools down, which takes about 10 minutes. All that because it has built in "motor overload protection device" Pleeeeeze!!

In order for this shredder to work properly, I had to feed single sheets folded lengthwise. If I added more than one sheet, it would jam. If I fed paper that was wrinkled, it would jam. If I fed paper that wasn't 20 bond, it would jam. Also, during one feed the armature (which goes out the side to hold the shredder over the wastebasket) gave out and it broke. Save your money and Don't purchase this shredder.

This piece of junk shouldn't even be on the shelves anywhere, unless it's to shred about 5 sheets a day. It jammed several times in the first few minutes of owning it, and the thermal cutoff kicked in several times during my light shredding. I miss my Fellowes 400 that died after about 12 years of faithful service.

I did not have a problem where it stopped and I had to wait until it cooled off like the other users. It worked really good for me and then one day, I had a lot of shredding to do, so I ran it may be on and off over the course of 1-2 hours and the shredder died. It was disappointing. Is this disposable?
