My son is almost an infant now and I absolutley love this crib! I love the beautiful color! It was very easy to assemble once home and took about 30-45 minutes. Came with the tools you need to assemble! I can not say enough how much I love this crib. I plan on having this for a very long time to come!

This crib is very high quality like you would find in a furniture store. The only complaint I have with this product is the crib scratches very easy, and the instructions arent the greatest in the world. There are other stores to buy this product from, but I would not advise it unless you can find it cheaper, because some sites state that you need to purchase the conversion kit with this crib, I would tell you if you buy from target, it comes with everything you need and there are no additional wood pieces to buy. The kit I would assume is only needed if you buy elsewhere. It took my husband and myself about an hour to put together but it is very beautiful and a great investment. It fits all standard size crib mattresses, which I found out when I called target. Hope this helps and enjoy!

I L-O-V-E this crib! I'm a first time mom and had been doing research on the 'perfect' crib since we had found out at 3 weeks along! I had seen a few other cribs, liked them, but could never get a good deal on shipping or be able to pick them up at the store. Finally my Husband and I 'settled' on the Kalani in Espresso. I saw it had high reviews (other then scratches and hard to read directions) but personally everything was fantastic! The crib was so well packaged that there was no damage in shipping, and the only scratches on it were from me assembling it BY MY SELF (6 months preggo) and they aren't that bad. BUT I do have to say that I can see it scratching a lot in the future, but most cribs that we looked at had that same issue...The directions were easy to follow (even with preggo brain) and it took me maybe 2 hours total with potty and lunch breaks and once again, I was able to do this all by myself and it was EASY! Oh, and the color of the Espresso is perfect! It's not too dark (they can go overboard and it looks black) and not too red (almost like dark cherry) but it's a perfect chocolatly rich brown that will go well with any decor!
I would highly reccomend this crib to anyone who will listen. It's beautiful, sturdy and looks like it will last through all of our babies (planning on 2 or 3) Overall a great buy!!!

I just got the crib today- it's exactly what I wanted. I had looked around at pricing and originally was going to order a cheaper model from walmart but I had a ton of problems with ordering from them online and no help resolving them. I decided to order from Target instead and I'm really glad I did. The crib arrived much faster than I expected and had no problem with the order. The crib is very sturdy without being too heavy and it's absolutely beautiful! The description said 'drop side' and mine is completely stationary so I don't know if I misunderstood. It also came with the toddler rail which I thought needed to be bought separately.

Researched and read reviews for almost every crib out there. Settled with this one for the price and the fact that it's actually made of wood. Very sturdy and looks good. Oak is more honey than anticipated. Directions not very good and scratches easily. Otherwise I'm satisfied. Haven't used it yet, so time will tell.

My husband and I are expecting a baby girl in Oct, but we wanted something that was gender neutral and would get extended use. Once put together, it was just what we had wanted. Easy assembly, shipped without any damage, and is beautiful. We usually never buy things without seeing them first, but it was worth the risk. Now we just have to wait until she's here!
I have already recommended this crib to our other friends!

This is a very sturdy, well designed, beautiful crib. Taking our time, me and my wife (slowly) put together the crib in around an hour. Instructions on assembly were great. Package, when received, althought it was slightly punctured, was well protected and there was no damage. All pieces are well made. You can scratch it if you do this hastily, so take your time, but it is a beautiful crib and well worth the money. With all the time me and my wife spent looking, this by far was the best and without the high price tag of some other competitors. Great buy!

We love this crib, it went together easily and looks pretty -- especially for the price. One tip somebody gave us was to go ahead and order the bedrails now, just in case this line is discontinued a few years from now so we can get the full value out of it. Another thing that as a first time parent I didn't think of - if you're wanting the railings to stay nice as a footboard in future years buy rail protectors for when you're child is teething to protect them and the nice wood finish for years to come.

What a wonderful piece. I'm 8 mos pregnant and put it together myself. All in all w/taking the stickers off the outside pieces, figuring out which directions were in English (as opposed to French, German & at least one other), and remembering not to tighten all the screws until the end - when all the pieces finally fit together - it's absolutely beautiful. I bought this to go w/2 other pieces from another set - you can't even tell they're different. I can't wait to complete the room with the final piece - our baby!
