Not real wood

I should have assumed the worst when I read "Oak Frame" in the description. There are a few wood parts but most of this is particle board with a veneer. It looks pretty good for a pre-fab piece, but I was hoping it would be real wood. There were a few dings on about 4 pieces, but those ended up on hidden areas. Assembly has some of the usual cam-nut swearing, but only took about 20 min with hand tools. It's definitely the nicest piece of particle board furniture I've assembled... but if you're looking for heirloom furniture, this isn't it.
