love my cranbrook February 14, 2008 Reviewer:  cassie commando (hp, sc,us)  See all my reviews >

i dont know if i just got the best huffy in the world or if everyone else just has SUPER high standards for a [...] cruiser. the metal is NOT soft it seems like a big problem if it is. if your handle bars come off while rideing it is a RECALL item and you should notify [the manufacturer] asap. no one wants to get sued and no one wants to get hurt. i love this bike, mine is great nothing was banged up in shipping(and if it was it would be my responsibility to send it back.) the ONLY thing that was hard about putting it together was the handle bars..i spimply didnt know how it attached ...but further inspection of the box it told me what tools to use and i figured it out. my husband is a comercail carpenter, he works with metal all the time, he even agreed that it was a very good bike for the price.

poor quality December 6, 2007 Reviewer:  joe m (nc)  See all my reviews >

I purchased two..one for myself and one for my girlfriend.I had purchased a Huffy about 10 years ago they were decent quality at the time but no more.

We spent a couple of hours assembling them. The metal on the bike is very soft and bends easily.Seat is uncomfortable. We took them for one ride down the street and returned them [...]. Both front wheels wobbled.

They are very cheaply made. By the way, Schwinn is now made by Huffy

For the money, good bike November 3, 2007 Reviewer:  Amber Eliason Real Name (North Shore, HI, USA)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I bought these bikes (he got the black men's huffy) to help us get around in a small Hawaii college town. To have 2 bikes shipped to to HI for 200 is a great deal, so we jumped on it. They arrived in bad condition. The boxes were torn up pretty badly and my husband's bike pieces were warped a bit. That made it difficult to put them together, but after hammering out the beaten up parts, they worked fine. Both of our tires are a little lopsided, and if you look down when you ride, you can see how they don't turn perfectly, but it doesn't really affect how well they ride. My husband's bike pedal got stripped after having the bike for about a month, but it's ridable without it. Overall, yeah, it's not the greatest bike you could own, but for the money, they're pretty good looking and overall fun bikes to ride. We'd recommend them to friends.

Great Bike October 8, 2007 Reviewer:  Steve Hoglund Real Name (Seattle, WA)  See all my reviews >

We bought 2 of these as they are so fun too ride. Yu get lots of looks and compliments from other people.

A cruiser for $100 - best deal in town. Why pay $400 for a name brand bike that looks the same.

We have had no problems with steering, pedals, brakes. You can assemble yourself or have the store do it for you.

Bike breaks down September 30, 2007 Reviewer:  loves bikes See all my reviews >

Had it for about 3 weeks the peddle fell off, it was stripped. Had to purchase a new peddle.

Next time, the handle bars became loose, tightened and lost control of bike when they loosened up again (about 30 minutes later). Then the front tire went flat. Probably rode the bike a total of 10 times.

Horrible quality bike, would not recommend it. Dangerous, too. Somebody will get hurt.
