We just purchased on friday may 15. Our son is having fun and enjoying it for what it is. The only complaint I have is when it comes time to drain it there is no plug to let the water go out, it does say it on the instuctions, but not on the outside of the box. You have to let the air out and let it collapse for the water to go out. With previous pools, we put ours on the patio and would put the plug side towards where the grass is, so at least its not being wasted. So I probably would not purchase this particular one again.

this is a great pool for my son and his cousins!I usually put blanket underneath and put it on my deck! kids have sooo much fun! I use a small pool sanitizer(aqua chem) to keep it clean and arm and hammer shower clean to clean it out when the pool is empty. works wonderfully! also there is no plug but if you purchase a $4 plastic tubing(4-5ft) from home depot put one end in the pool and the other end outside of the pool. put that end up to you mouth and suck the water toward you(see-through tubing works best).once its almost to your mouth, place the tube on the ground and the water will suck out itself till the pool is empty. this works best when the tube-end on the ground is on a lower then the tube-end in the pool. also gret when empty for a play pen for smaller children, filled with balls or toys!

Thought this was a great purchase until we realized there is no drain. How are you suppose to clean and change the water? Back to the store it goes. Waste of money and time. I think Target should take a look at the reviews and remove this product from the shelf.

We bought this pool this weekend and it is perfect for us! We love how high the sides are and love the space that our daughter and her neighborhood friends have to splash around in it!
The kids are only 2-3yo so it really is the perfect size and depth for kids who can't swim yet.
The no drain plug is no big deal for us. Wow so you have to let the air out or fill and empty buckets. A small price to pay for the joy of hearing little kids laughing the days away in it!

We bought one, filled it up, watched it loose air all afternoon, found the hole and returned it. Bought another, filled it up, watched it loose air all afternoon, found the hole and returned it. Enough said.

[...] we really like it! The kids (ages 3 and 6)love to splash in the water every day and the pool is so big there's plenty of room for them to move around. It can easily accomodate an adult and a couple of kids. You do have to deflate it in order to empty it, but is not a big deal to us. The pool inflates in 10-15 mins with our eletric pump and we refill it as needed. We bought a plastic cover for it at and it helps keep the water clean. The plastic seems very durable, and so far , no problems for us. While it would be nicer if it had a drain plug, we are still having lots fun with this pool!

How to drain pool

Place your garden hose with a nozzle into a small used garden hose about 5-6ft long while submerged . this will create a vortex and will drain all but a few inches out without all that sucking the hose bit.it will only take a few moments to achieve a siphon , just remember to keep the draining hose on the ground.I have not purchased a pool yet but it sure is worth the $buck to bring a smile to your grand kids on a 100 degree plus day in the middle of a drought here in Austin.

I got this when it was on sale since it was nice and big for my 5 year old. I would love to have a pool with a filter or a little easier to clean but for the money I paid, I'm not complaining. It is easy to put up and take down. If I am just cleaning it, I empty the top air chamber and am able to drain enough until I can flip the whole thing over. Then I just use a sponge mop to scrub the empty pool, rinse and refill. I have had good luck chlorinating to keep the water cleaner for longer too. It is a large pool, so of course it uses a LOT of water and can take a while to fill.

I bought this pool for my 6 year old daughter. It works perfectly! It took about 20 minutes to blow up with a little electric air pump - but that was easy! As for cleaning - it's light enough that you can just tip it over and start over! For [the price] this was a steal - I actually bought two - one for home and one for grandma's!!

NO DRAIN PLUG - MAKES EMPTYING/CLEANING A NIGHTMARE!

We love this type of pool but this particular model without a drain plug makes emptying it a nightmare! It really puts you off using it because of the clean-up! I don't know how the manufacturer expects you to lift a pool filled with 198 gallons of water to empty it! It usually ends up in hundreds of buckets being off loaded before 2 adults can tip it slightly to empty the rest but I'm sure this will end up with the vinyl splitting because you have to tug it to tip it over. We had one almost identical last year that had a plug and it worked great. I'm going to return it! It's worth paying a little extra to make life easier!
