Looks good, but VERY firm

I bought this chair on sale for $219. I really like the style of it and needed a chair for my living room. The thing about this chair is, it looks like it would be a really comfy soft chair, but it is very, very firm. I expect that will make it wear better, but it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world.

Great looking, but somewhat uncomfortable

Bought this on sale online. Requires some slight assembly (the back piece slides on and you have to screw on the four feet), but that takes only a couple of minutes.
It looks great in my living room, and I get lots of compliments on it when friends first see it. Until they sit on it. The seat is sturdy, but not exactly cushiony. Also, you can't really lean back and relax in it, because there's nowhere to rest your head.
That said, for an occasional chair, it does the job nicely. But, if you're looking for a chair where you'd want to sit for long hours, reading novels, watching movies, or relaxing, go with one of the other club chairs that Target sells.

Bi-cast leather but still fine.

The styling and size of this little chair are both very good for small spaces and average-size people. (Note measurements). We have had no trouble with it in over a year, but it is not in a high-use area. The upholstery is rather stiff, not uncomfortable, but should not be expected to loosen up as real leather would. Bi-cast leather is made from bonding polyurethane to the lowest grade of split leather, pieced split leather, or bonded leather (sort of like laminated flooring). This is what gives it the color and shine, and some additional strength. It is an easy-clean alternative to fabric, not an alternative to leather-match or better leather furniture.

I got the chairs on sale for $250 and got the ottomans later. I was initally concerned about the quality of the leather given the price. However, I have had no troubles, even with two small children and a big dog. I could not be more happy with the chairs and ottoman. They are a good size for a small space and quite comfortable. Initially a bit stiff to sit in, but improves with use. Great purchase, and great value.

Received lots of compliments

I felt this chair was priced too much for what it is. However, I purchased it because the dimensions were perfect for the small space I needed it for -- it doesn't take up a lot of space like most club chairs. It also fits in with my decor perfectly as it is not quite black, but a chocolate color. To me, it looked a little cheasy and is built a little cheasy as well. It is very light and moves easily. Not a heavy chair. However -- with my thoughts aside, I have received lots of compliments on how nice the chair is and how comfortable it is. My kids fight over who gets to sit in it all the time.

After reading many reviews, I hesitantly ordered the chair and the storage ottoman. Because they weren't sold as a pair, I was a little nervous that they would not be a good match and that the color and quality wouldn't be good. I recv'd both today (in just 3 days)and I'm in LOVE. They are the perfect size, color and style.

I have one of these chairs already and love it. I recently purchased a second one online, was thrilled with how fast it got here but when I assembled it the back was crooked. The metal brackets that hook the seat back to the base weren't screwed into the chair at the same height. How dissapointing! So I had to lug the thing to a Target store to return it. I really want a matching set but am afraid to reorder and have the same thing happen!

We just purchased this chair and are very happy so far. It is a comfortable chair and was simple to put together. Not nearly as shiny in person as it is in the picture. A great knock off of pricer chairs.

My first initial thought was that the price for this chair was a bit too much. However, with all the compliments that I have received and the comfort in sitting in it.....I realized that it was way worth the price.
