Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best Mario games ever made, and that's certainly saying a lot. In Galaxy, you take control of the beloved plumber while trying to save his princess from the evil Bowser. This is where most of the similarities with other Mario games ends. The gameplay is marvelous, with enough new features to keep you entertained for quite some time. The multiplayer isn't some of the best for the Wii, but it's good enough to use when you want to have your kids play it, and they just need a little help. However, if you're looking for a great multiplayer game for the Wii, I suggest either Mario Party 8 or Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

This is the best game of it's type ever. The game is deep fun and challenging. The 2 player co-op is helpful for the player in control, but the second person is just a helper and doesn't control a character just a cursor (to grab "star bits", make mario jump/spin and freeze certain platforms). If you like 3D platerformers this is you ultimate game. Be warned it can make you a bit disoriented with walking on the bottom or sides of things, which is part of the fun.

I have had this game for a number of weeks. I've been able to play it and I've enjoyed it a lot. It's a lot of fun and I find the game challenging and entertaining.

Please note ... though the box claims that this is a two player game. It really isn't. The second player just gets to wave around the wand thingy to get stars. The second player is not Luigi.

The graphics on this video game are amazing. Nintendo has come a long way from the beginning.

My husband and I bought this game because of the reviews thinking that it would be fun for both of us. It is only fun for 1 person. The only part of being player 2 is to help Player 1 bounce higher or grab stuff...it isn't that good.

This is probabably the best Mario game in years! Its so interactive and translates well to the wii. Its really challenging but not so much tha tyou get frustrated.

If Zelda TP was the best game of the year it is now #2. I got this game a week ago and everyday when i get home from work i have to play it. I already have 50 stars and it is amazing. Its never too hard but it keeps you thinking. It is for all ages and has jokes for everyone. If i had to pick one of my games and burn the rest i would pick this one.
Godzilla is still the worst game for the wii.

This is really great me and my friend bought this together and then we have played it like every other weekend trying to compelte it. I've been playing it for like a year and still havent won it yet becuase it has so much to do its so fun!

This Mario is better than Paper Mario which is a more old school version. Galaxy will not leave you stumped and or bored.

Nintendo has long been parading their adventurous plumber across the evolving consoles, but this far and away the best Mario based game ever to be released. It sold 500,000 copies in the first week it was available in the U.S. for a reason. Super Mario Galaxy will go down in history as one of the best platformers ever.

The game itself is simple enough for novice/casual gamers but still has aspects that are very demanding for the hardcore fan base (try collecting all 120 stars). If there was only one reason to buy a Wii, this game would be it.
