Red Sunbeam Stand Mixer November 7, 2006 Reviewer:  Ecogirl See all my reviews >

I bought this for myself and am really happy that I did. I had my eye on the red KitchenAid Stand Mixer for quite some time, but I just could't justify spending three hundred dollars on a mixer that I wouldn't use all of the time.

The Price is right on this beautiful mixer. It has the same retro appeal that I was looking for in the KitchenAid mixer, and the motor is nice and quiet. It is a beautiful and functional appliance. I could not be more pleased : )

Better than Kitchen Aid November 26, 2006 Reviewer:  Jo Ann "Jo Ann G" (Tucson, AZ)  See all my reviews >

This mixer, for this price, is the best bargain in kitchen appliances. I have bought 3 for gifts after buying the first one for myself.
It is easy to use, powerful, and makes it easier for whatever you are doing, cakes or mashed potatos, or cookies, or bread dough, or whatever.
A MUST HAVE.

Super pleased with the Red Sunbeam Mixer July 11, 2007 Reviewer:  teach See all my reviews >

I looked at many styles and options of Kitchen Aid stand mixers. Seemingly I should get what I want on this next mixer and the cost climbed very high. I saw the red Sunbeam stand mixer online at Target and knew that my replacement for my old 20 yr old Sunbeam stand mixer should be this red Sunbeam mixer - the price and quality were both right. Delivery was super fast in only 3 short days!! The fact that I use a mixer only a small amount of time convinced me that my Sunbeam never let me down and the money difference was the final straw to my decision. I am thrilled with the looks and it's light-weight to ensure that I can move it to my island for storage and move it to the countertop when needed. The Kitchen Aid was very heavy and it would be necessary to remain stationary on the countertop.

Awesome mixer! January 17, 2008 Reviewer:  Perfectly Baked Cookies See all my reviews >

I have had this mixer for about 4 years and have loved it! I am a cookie maker and I make a LOT of cookies. This Christmas I made over 5000 cookies, yes 5,000 cookies. I make cookies in large amounts all year long and this mixer has held up. One of the things I really like about it is the feature to move the bowl from mixing on the side to mixing in the middle of the bowl. I have tried the kitchen aid mixer (the one that is $250) at a friends' house and did not care for it. I love that this mixer comes with the standard beaters and not that triangle beater thing. While adding in ingredients I move the bowl to the side for more room and then can switch it back and forth to mix all ingredients together. When lifting up the beaters the top locks in place not tipping back toward you while trying to remove the beaters. Cookie dough is not like cake batter and this mixer has done it's job for the last 4 years. I am purchasing another mixer as after 4 years of cookie dough and me getting a scraper stuck in between the beaters - I think my mixer is ready to retire. This is a Great value for $100!

Great mixer, just one oversight. January 18, 2008 Reviewer:  Niki B (Sandy, UT, USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this mixer about 2 years ago and really do love it. I don't often use a mixer, so couldn't justify spending more on a bigger name. It's solid, but not so heavy that I can't still lug it out of the pantry when I need to intead of leaving it out. The only problem I have with it is this: after minimal use, the ends of many of the numbers and descriptions on the speed dial started to "run" to the point where they completely dissappeared. At least mine did. It's as if the ink melts when it warms up during use, and since that's where you're touching to change speeds you end up smearing the numbers to the point where they completely wear away. In just one double cookie batch session, my 8/beat went from one little smear at the end to all-the-way gone. For such an otherwise great mixer, it just seems like a stupid little oversight by the makers that really impacted my overall impression of the product.

Sunbeam Mixer not long-lasting November 29, 2007 Reviewer:  marie claire "MC" (CA)  See all my reviews >

I don't use my mixer but more than a few times a month. After the third month I was unable to insert one of the steel mixers into the main body part and had to blend with only one rather than two. Then four months later it started shaking heavily when on any one of the speeds and would rotate slowly even on the fastest speed.

Great product and value January 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Grace Strahan Piper "sage" Real Name (Starkville, MS)  See all my reviews >

This is a terriffic mixer. I just didn't see how I could justify a larger, more expensive mixer for around $200. The only draw back is that I wish this mixer had a paddle and whisk attachment. However, if you compare this mixer to the to other pricey stand mixers, this one has a more powerful motor. It has a great look and is of great quality.

Good Customer Service...after it broke January 8, 2008 Reviewer:  Lauren S (Ohio)  See all my reviews >

After 2 and a half years of moderate use, my mixer started making a strange noise and then the bowl stopped turning permanently. I emailed sunbeam's customer service and they sent me a new mixer, no questions asked.

MixMaster January 29, 2009 Reviewer:  S. Corn Real Name (Asheville, NC)  See all my reviews >

I have had my Mix-master for going on two years now. I received it as a gift for christmas and I use it quite frequently without any problem. For anyone who is buying this mixer as opposed to a Kitchen Aid mixer, dont expect the same type of performance as a Kitchen Aid mixer. The batter will collect on the sides and I have found that a rubber spatula carefully guided around the bowl while you are mixing works the best. The model is attactive and is a good option if you don't feel like laying out dollars for a stand mixer. The mixer is powerful and despite what you would read in other reviews I haven't had the first problem out of my mixer - after two years it still works great. For the money I can say that whoever bought this for me got their moneys worth because I have certinly enjoyed using it (not to mention looking at it)
