The designs are fun and the unit is easy to store because of its small size. But you can't fit bagels into the small slots. Great for toast and english muffins.

THEY TAKE SOME GETTING USED TO! U DONT WANT TO BURN
YOUR FINGERS OR YOUR TOAST! THE ONLY [ANNOYING] THING
WAS THAT THE DESIGN PLATES ARE SEALED IN A BLUE COATING
WHICH WE ALL RUINED OUR NAILS REMOVING CHRISTMAS DAY! THEY
ARE COMPLETELY INCASED IN ON BOTH SIDES!
IT'S SO STUPID-LY OVER KILL!! THE TOASTER WITH THE 2 DESIGN PLATES ARE NOT INCASED AT ALL.....

I absolutely love the design of this toaster. It toasts well and is easy to use.

I only have two complaints about it: 1) As someone else said, the design plates are coated with blue film that has to be peeled off before use, and it's really hard to do. 2) I've had mine for about eight months now, and just yesterday I wiped it down with a damp sponge - no soap, no chemicals - and the writing next to the "frozen" "reheat" and "cancel" buttons started to wipe off! I stopped wiping so they are still partially there, but I'm considering just wiping them all off since I don't use the buttons anyway.
