We purchased this DVD player for my 6 year old's room and after owning it only several months, like the previous poster, the dvd tray stopped opening and closing. Poorly made product - wasn't worth $2.99 let alone [full price]. This avid Target shopper will never buy the Trutech brand again.

it works fine in my sons room,bought it because it is cheap,didn't want to get anything expensive for his room. Have used it for over a year now,working fine.

Horrible. Open-close drawer stopped working. Finally got it open, but dvd wouldn't play -- screen said "wrong disc", whatever that means. Will never buy Target products again.

From almost the very beginning, this DVD player has been a dissapointment. The DVD would say there is no disc, when there was a DVD in the player. It was very loud and you could hear the disc spinning/rattling inside the player. We've maybe had this DVD player for 6 months and now the door won't even open to accept a DVD. Please don't waste your money on this product!

I've had this DVD player for a little over two years, and it's already on its last legs. I guess I'm lucky compared with the other reviewers, but I still recommend you spend just a little bit more and get something that's going to last.

We bought this two short weeks ago and are already having a lot of problems with it. It won't turn on at times, or it won't open, or it won't start. We wanted just a basic player and didn't even get that. This lemon is going back!!

I bought this cd player for my office for when my clients come in with kids, so the kids can watch a movie while we talk. I think this device lasted 3 movies (over 5 months). Pay a little more and get something else. You have been warned!
