Don't waste your money to buy this product. I replaced a new batery and walk in front of it 3 times before it activated. I called the company, no answer and a voice mail told me to leave message but ... then they don't accept the voice mail!

I tried this out and it did not keep the stray cats out of my yard. First, I placed it in the middle of my back yard which is only 20' X 20". The cats still walked across. Next, I moved it closer to the opening under the neighbors fence where I would see the cats come from. Still they came in. The batteries were fresh and I know it was working since I walked by it and could hear the click and saw the red light.

The sound produced definatley was not animal friendly, but getting this device to produce the noise when needed seemed impossible. Seemed to have a VERY slow reaction time to detect. I.E: had to pass hand in front of sensor (approximateley 2 feet) six times for it to activate. Warm up time was accomplished, all rules were followed.

The name of this product is called outdoor PET repellent, I am looking for something that would repell squirrels--nowhere near a family pet. These nuisance of an animal have been digging holes in my landscaping and my newly planted grass hiding their food. Any suggestions.

Of course, nothing is 100% effective, but this definitely helps. Between our two next door neighbors, we're surrounded by SIX cats who roam our neighborhood, use our garden as a litter box, and leave dead animals at our doors. It was absolutely disgusting and made me want to move. Yes, these cat deterrants are expensive, especially when buying in quanity (one for each door), but it's a whole lot cheaper than moving.
I move them a few feet every few weeks since the cats seem to become accustomed to them. We haven't had any dead animals on our property since putting them out though (knock on wood) and my flowers aren't getting damaged from cat feces anymore.
Was definitely worth the investment for my situation.
