Years of use! Love it!

I have had this one for a couple years now and never had the first days problem. I have not experienced the problems that the other reviewers have had. Before this one, I had the 12 cup Brewstation and loved it as well, it is a bit bigger and takes up more counter space and is bulky if you have limited counter space. But I have found this one to be perfect and my visitors love it as well and I always get great comments on it. Personally, I highly recommend this coffee maker and WILL buy another one when this one quits. Oh, and I am a heavy coffee drinker, work at home mostly, probably drink 12 cups a day, 6 cup brews twice a day. So I use it a lot more than the average coffee drinker may. My last one had to be replaced, after years of use, because the gasket ring in the spout "went south", my husband tried to fix it and with this problem I did have the problems the other reviewers are having, but this was after years of heavy use. I had no problem going out and buy this unit, one level smaller than the previous. Just love these Brewstations!!!

Mine too, started leaking. The pump went out on both mine and my son's. Hamilton Beach is NOT cooperative in replacing the product. What a waste of money.

I have had 2 of this coffee maker and two of my family members each have one and all four of them dribble down the back by the button and then they all, after about 3 months of use, started to leak dark concentrated coffee from the bottom. Impossible to clean properly. DO NOT TAKE BUYING THIS PRODUCT SERIOUSLY.

I hate this machine! Should have read reviews before buying. No matter how I position my cup under the dispenser, coffee dribbles down the side. Now leaks from underneath all over the counter. However it makes good, hot coffee with no burning, and I like the idea of no carafe...but can’t take the leaks anymore! Good concept, bad engineering.

This brewstation was a great solution for me. No burner to rust, like other coffee makers, it is fast and makes really good coffee. I love it.

I love this coffeemaker! My husband bought it for me after our move about seven months ago as our old one was still in storage. It is great because you never have to mess around with the glass pots. I read the other reviews and I dont agree with them. One person said it is hard to measure the water.... well there is a see-throug plastic window in the front with the numbers of cups on it, so whats hard to measure? The coffee is also hot right after you brew it and gets even hotter after it sits for a few minutes. Mine is not leaking at all. It is so easy to clean too. I definelty recommend it!!! Plus, it is very well worth for what you pay for it

So I've owned two Brewstations the first I bought for my mom back in 2004. Worked great up until her cat dropped it off the counter and broke the board inside. This was December of 08. I bought mine in Jan of 08 and just dropped it breaking the board in it. But before the boards broke due to just a careless cat or careless owner. This product worked wonderfully. I'm buying a more updated one to replace the one I just broke. But for an inexpensive coffeemaker this one is perfect especially if you break a lot of carafe's Like i used to.

This coffee maker worked great for about a month. It was just a giant leaking mess after that. I didn't read reviews before I bought it and I wish I had. The concept is great but it just doesn't work. Don't waste your money! I would have given it zero stars if I could.

Only for owners of fine china!

Very messy, leaks & drips all over the countertop. Water leaks out of the back, so I tilted it forward a bit. It's impossible to get all the coffee it dispenses into a cup, and I've tried different cups; you need one with very thin walls. If you drink your morning coffee from very fine china this will work for you. Not having a carafe to worry about knocking against your china cups makes this a plus for those of you who do use fine china. However, in addition to the dispenser not getting the coffee into a normal sized mug, the unit is too short to accomodate a commuter cup over 4.5" tall. I bought a tray to put under it to catch all the extra liquids, but I am tired of the mess and returned to this site to buy a different machine.

I've had two of these over the past few years. We use a coffee maker daily (sometimes several times.) The first one, after about 1-1/2 yrs, had the heating element fail, so the coffee didn't stay hot enough. On the second one, after one year, it started to leak - to the point where we had coffee all over the counter. Now that I know from others that leaking is a common problem, I won't buy it again - I'm looking for something of better quality.
