I am glad to read everyones review. Although the price was a bit high, [.......]would be a better price. I could not find this product anywhere except at Target. I was thinking this was a solid piece but it comes in 2 seperate pieces. Saying that I am satified over all with this product. I live in an apt and have hollow core doors. I like using the 3 M products that have the sticky tabs that come off when you stretch them. Using this product helped the shelve stay stable and stronge. I didn't use any screws at all. Hope this helps.

I needed this item for a small bathroom and it fits though it probably needs to be secured to the door and I rent my home, so I can't do that...otherwise it's perfect as a spacesaver and so easy to put up.

This is a great rack UNLESS you have a hollow door or cannot screw the rack to the door. The shelves are nice and big and the spacing between the shelves is awesome, the only problem with the rack is the shelves do not have a back to them. This means that if you do not screw the rack to the door, each time you open or close the door too hard the rack slightly comes away from the door and spices and things on the shelves begin to fall off the back of the rack. I have looked in many places [...] so this rack is fantastic only if it can be fixed to the door. I will be returning mine tomorrow and forking out the [money] for a different rack that does not require any holes in the door.

There is a much better one available thru home trends, you can order it online and the shipping is much cheaper and it is made much sturdier. I sent this one back and got the one thru home trends much better quality.

I love this rack. I have probably stored more than a hundred spices and more on it. I think if I really wanted to, I could probably add more. I have purchased a similar shelf in the past, and this one is far superior. The other one's shelves have since died, and it's become wobbly and unpredictable with time. Yes, Target's shelf needs to be drilled into the door, so those who don't want holes in the woodwork might not like this, but that's what makes this thing a dynamo. I'm pretty rough with the door this is mounted to, and nothing, I mean nothing flies off. All I can say is...love it!

I agree with the posters that this is useless unless you screw it into the door. I have hollow-core doors, though, and have had success screwing in the bottom piece. If you don't screw it in, it will wobble all over the place, and your items will fall out. It will also bang against the door every time it moves. Since screwing it in, it has worked just fine. I use it for extra food items that won't fit into my tiny kitchen, but I try to keep lighter items on it like crackers, boxes of cake, etc. rather than canned food. It will hold canned food, but I just feel better putting lighter items on it. I plan on buying two more to use on the backs of bedroom doors. With a baby on the way, the storage will come in handy!

I was very disappointed in this product. It doesn't have back rails on each shelf so when you close the door the whole hanger swings out and spills out the items on the shelfs!!! I had a big mess to clean after all my spices fell on the floor!! Also the bracket at the top simply bent even with just a few items on it. It should be discontinued.

I ordered the over the door rack for a small bedroom to save space. I applaud target.com for being the only store I could find it at, I guess they aren't too popular anymore. Anyways, [...] I haven't opened it yet, but I'm sure I'll love it, seeing as though I needed it. [...] All in all, a good product (I'm sure), but I wasn't too happy with the shipping.

This item is absolutely perfect for my dorm.
It stayed put though it did occasionally rattled when I shut (slammed) my door. You shouldn't have that problem because I couldn't screw it into the door like the instructions recommend.
I love it, and really helps in small spaces.
