This chair is very cute, but for the price it should be made a lot better than it is. I bought two of these chairs recently. The first one was soiled by one of my cats within minutes of putting it in my daughter's room, and much to my dismay, the cloth could not be removed from the chair. Since I couldn't wash it adequately, I had no choice but to throw it out. The second one I put in my 4th grade daughters room, and within minutes it was broken. She weighs 70 pounds, and sat on it gently, but two of the legs snapped.

I got 2 of these chairs as Christmas presents for each of my 2 kids, ages 5 and 7. OUt of all the presents they recieved, and they received a lot of presents, these chairs were their favorites. They slept in them the first few nights. My husband was getting tired of bringing them downstairs in the morning so they could sit in them during the day and then bringing them back upstairs at night so they could sleep. I also bought them 2 fuzzy, soft blankets from Target and that is their second favorite gift. The chair and balnket were perfect gifts.

I LOVE THIS CHAIR! It's realy compfy, and the material is super soft. It's just like a dish! It has no arm rests, but that gives it more room to just stretch out and relax! It matched everything in the room I put it in, even though it was a totally different shade of color the room was. It made the room so much more conversational! My friends love it! I give this chair 5 stars.

The chair is cute, comfortable and will be a great addition to my 12 year old step-daughter's room. However, luckily I opened the package rather than just wrapping it for Christmas, because the chair had a black grease-like stain on the middle of the cushion. I just received this chair today, and I must say, it is very comfortable regardless of how you are sitting. I would not have any problem sleeping in this chair throughout the whole night! Plus, the soft corduroy fabric keeps me warm. The color shown on the website seems just a tiny bit darker than the actual color. I was very hesitant about purchasing this chair since other reviewers had problems with the legs breaking; however, the chair seems durable enough, at least for me they are. Honestly, for [an inexpensive] chair that was mainly designed for dorms, isn't it asking too much if you expected to be flawless? If this lasts me for a year, I think I can say I made a good use out of the money. I mean, common, this isn't a [upscale] chair; don't expect the durability of a sofa when paying so little for it.

I know there are negative comments about this chair but i bought one for a friend's daughter last summer and it has been GREAT! It's held up very well and is sturdy for her. She is a slim high school sophomore. It's adorable, a fun color and the corduroy is cozy!

I bought 4 of these chairs mid Summer 2005, I bought them for my summer house which we go to on weekends. They fold nicely into a plastic bag which is a nice feature.
This chair is as comfortable as everyone says...mabye more.......they cradle you from the wind and they are very warm because of the quilted material. UNFORTUNATELY, the hinges are plastic!!!!!!!!!!! One of mine broke just this past weekend ( 7/22/06). I also noticed that the material one of the others is tearing. For a $50 chair which only gets summer usage. I think I should have gotten alot more use out of them!!!!!!!!!! We had gotten alot of compliments from guests who come to visit. I was raving about them until now.
If you did the math, I barely got 6 months of usage since we dont' use them all winter.
