Many creative uses April 22, 2009 Reviewer:  A. Thatcher "cheapskate" Real Name (the Great State of NJ)  See all my reviews >

One of my friends made a giant guinea pig castle out of a few sets of these cubes. He basically snapped them into three giant cubes, in three different levels, and lined them with corrugated plastic. A cage that size in a pet store would cost more but he did it for less.

great for the dorm!!!! May 2, 2007 Reviewer:  A. C. Simmons Real Name See all my reviews >

ok, so i got these storage cubes (but mine were a set of six) for my college dorm room. it was the greatest piece of storage in the whole room! you can design the cubes in any way you like and although their made of the steel wire pattern its very sturdy and super easy to put together! its so easy to put together that i re-arranged them on a regualr basis. and now i'm leaving to return home for the summer and as i packed up my room i realized that the great storage cubes breaks down very well and small enough for me to place anywhere! i realllllllly recommend this

great product has lasted 3 moves October 5, 2007 Reviewer:  i live next to 2 targets "fern" See all my reviews >

I've learned that they are very sturdy if you use a rubber mallet to secure the connectors after putting the whole assembly together. I use these mostly for clothes storage in my closet but also have two cubes holding up my printer and computer accessories. I've long left the dorm rooms, but can't let these go because I like to rearrange them every time I move. I cover the exposed cubes w/ sarongs so it doesn't clash w/ my decor. My father recently bought a couple of sets for light garage storage (shoes, cleaning supplies, tools, etc.)

expensive to ship... September 21, 2007 Reviewer:  P. Hunt Real Name See all my reviews >

These work well if you assemble them properly. NOTE: you must follow the order on the assembley sheet or they pop apart faster than you can connect them. I stuggled for an hour...My husband came home and it took him 10 minutes. My 16 year old son has not managed to kill them yet. [...]

Amazing April 12, 2007 Reviewer:  J. Fortier Real Name See all my reviews >

I used these cubes to make a cage for my 4 month old guinea pig. It is amazingly sturdy and you can design them in any way, shape, or form. You can use them for so much more than storage. I used it to make a guinea pig cage. You can also use it to make a stand for something, a small computer desk, maybe even a shelf. There are endless possibilities with these cubes. I highly reccomend this product.

Good Guinea Pig Cage July 27, 2009 Reviewer:  A. Aragon Real Name (Albuquerque)  See all my reviews >

These grids are a really good product to make a guinea pig or rabbit cage. I did not like the connectors that come with the cubes because they are a bit tricky to use so I used plenty of zip ties to secure them together instead. I have 32 grids (two sets) arrange into a two level open cage for my piggies. They are very happy and healthy critters with all the room I can provide for them.

Great product! May 5, 2008 Reviewer:  Julia (Upstate New York)  See all my reviews >

I'm not so sure why so many people had such problems with this. I'm pretty weak myself, and I had no problems putthing this together. I mean yes, you have to put some muscle into it to snap it into place, but they go together pretty easy. And they are quite sturdy. I have already filled mine and moved them around a few times, and they stay together! I think it's a great, modern, cheap, and efficient way to store some of your stuff! The best part is that you can shape them any way you want!

Works fine with cable ties to hold together September 5, 2007 Reviewer:  Sue H (Mass.)  See all my reviews >

We used these grids for our guinea pig cage. They do require effort to fit into the connectors, but once in, they stay together OK if you use cable ties or zip ties -- nylon ties you can get at [office] or computer stores.

Great scrapbook paper organizier December 17, 2008 Reviewer:  libbyslats "Libby" (Malvern, Arkansas)  See all my reviews >

I took this unit and made it three cubes high. We used the fourth shelf to make wire racks. I bought the black ties and we connected it all together and then snipped the ends of the ties. It made an awesome paper organizer! Comparable ones sell for over 40.00. I bought this at the start of the school year for 14.99.

Great for Storage August 10, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy Mommy of 1 See all my reviews >

My husband bought this product to hold all of our bulk items (paper towels, tissues, detergent, cleaning supplies, etc.) So far it's held up to all of the weight really well (2 months)! I didn't have a problem snapping the cubes together, it was really kind of simple. It does seem unsturdy as you are putting it together, but once you have the finished product it doesn't wobble, bend or buckle. I was originally going to buy wooden shelving, but for the price this was a great option to hold my storage supplies!
