cool to use and cool to look at July 17, 2007 Reviewer:  johnandjill (Vallejo, CA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this unit looks in reality. I would say the pictures don't do it justice. It is infinitely easy to use, attach some parts, plug it in and you're in business. The digital thermostat is helpful. I really appreciate the fact that it shows you what the temperature actually is. I've owned 2 other brands of wine coolers before and the temperature display shows what you program it to and not the actual temp. what's the point? Pricewise, this was a relative steal.

All I need and more June 20, 2007 Reviewer:  Chardonna (Monterey, CA)  See all my reviews >

I have had this for about 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with it. I have a case of very nice french cabs that I recently bought at an estate sale and this is perfect for it. I'm quite sold on the whole vibration free thermoelectric feature. The finish gives it a very premium appeal and the lock is key!

good performance October 14, 2009 Reviewer:  Landon R. Gaggenau (Laguna Beach, CA, USA)  See all my reviews >

I like the price and the overall quality and performance of this wine fridge is excellent. I did not select expedited shipment but got it 2 days. maybe I got a free upgrade. it cools quite well and 28 bottles works for me. very happy with this purchase.

Almost perfect March 19, 2009 Reviewer:  TorpGuy "D Travis" (Brookville, NY)  See all my reviews >

Like everyone else, I was looking for a bargain purchase, and this was probably close enough. I was real pleased with the lock that comes with the unit. Small feature but that was what sold me. Wish the light in the unit was a little brighter but was of secondary concern. Cooling wise it works just fine and as advertised. I stored some cigars too and they have kept well.

fine looking thermoelectric March 4, 2009 Reviewer:  J Mackie (Albany, NY, USA)  See all my reviews >

After having read about what I should use to store "collectible" type wines, I've been looking for a good looking, well priced, thermoelectric (no-vibrations 52F-70F)as opposed to the compressor-based type (sub 50F but vibrations). This fit the bill nicely. It has worked well so far, but I'm already ready to expand my collection.

not cold at all February 9, 2009 Reviewer:  C. Baer Real Name (Richmond Hill, GA)  See all my reviews >

Very cheaply made. The door frame is all plastic , the interior is plastic.
The temperature goes no farther than 51deg which is not cold enough for any liquids placed inside.
The only reason we bought this unit was because of the size, we need it to go into our kitchen island.
Look else where for a wine cooler even if you pay more.

We never received it. When we called you said it was lost and now out of stock. Pretty poor service

Too Cold in Basement May 29, 2009 Reviewer:  Mark Goldstein Real Name See all my reviews >

I am unable to get the Whynter 28 into the 55*-57* range. I seem to be maxed out at 48*. The unit sits in the finished part of my basement. The unit is set to the highest temperature on the thermostat. But, I can't seem to get it into the optimum cellar range of 55* - 57*.
