I ordered this to place between two tall, narrow windows that frame my couch--the space is pretty narrow, and this mirror is about the size of a large salad plate or small dinner plate. Unfortunately, the item arrived damaged (the mirror was severely cracked), so it will be returned (or hopefully exchanged, assuming that the store has some). The brass framing is somewhat matte, and the gold rings on the ribbon tab are pretty plain. The ribbon itself is decent quality, but the stitching is somewhat uneven. It isn't apparent from the picture, but the mirror curves out from its framing, giving a somewhat distorted view; it is not flat.

I recently redecorated a room in my home and have an area with narrow wallspace between 2 doorways. I had tried several sconces, candleholders, pictures, etc. THEN I found THIS and it is lovely. It is the perfect fit and I don't think I will ever change it! It's a classic and is a nice quality looking piece.
