I got this rice cooker after my bridal shower and that was over 7 months ago and it still works good! Just be sure to keep an eye on your food cause if dont put enough water in it, the rice will burn...otherwise it steams fresh veggies great,and cooks rice prefect...just in the book when it says how much water to put in always put a little more then what it says because its usually not enough...:-)

This Rice cooker/steamer is great. Even the worst cook can't get it wrong, you turn it on and it tells you when its done. We had the best streamed veggies the 1st time we used it!
