The gold shimmer actually gives it a nice, feminine touch--not "ghetto" at all. Though, I would recommend removing the too-shiny gold beads on both the top and bottom (looks cheap).The top fits really well--very snug. I will say watch your sizes: I am usually a SM on top and MD on bottom, but this was reverse for me--I'd get the top a size larger than usual. love it.

Beware! If you want a cute camo swimsuit, this is NOT for you! The entire surface of the top and bottom are completely covered with a shiny, gold material. You can't tell in the picture, but it looks as if you're covered in ghetto glitter all over your suit! Better check this one out in the store first, before you commit to shipping charges....

This suit is definitely more pink than it may look in the picture. It is a nice feminine take on GI Joe style apparel. This suit is excellent for sunning outside as it blends in well with the natural scenery and does not attract any unwanted attention. The bandeau style top is nice if triangle style tops are a bit more revealing. This suit is nice and sturdy and stays on well during water sports and activities.
